CHEESE CANNONS!!!!!As tanks we must stand firm against our cruciferous oppressors, do not falter!
For the moment you show weakness in your stride, the enemy will rend you asunder; whether they be friend or foe...
Stand with me Paladins, Warriors, Dark Knights.. You too must hunger for sweet victory.
TO ARMS, STOKE THE FLAMES OF WARMING, LOAD THE CHEESE CANNONS! We must be ever vigilant if we are to devour our enemies!
(super serious)I don't know what to put here so I've put this here as a placeholder until I figure it out.(super serious)

This x100! It happens all the time, even after getting 4 ticks on a ready check.Nine times out of ten, when I see a Tank hesitate to pull a boss it's usually because they noticed the Healer casting a late Adlo or Stoneskin and politely stopped to wait for them. Given that adlo and SS usually last long enough to eat the first cleave of the boss, I think I'm gonna sympathize with the tanks on this one.
To be honest, I don't think that there is a tank in the game who gives a flying crap about the Dps missing out on a few seconds of a buff, especially when the Dps applied the buff before the Tank's pull. If the Tank has to chose between the Dps missing a couple seconds and the healer finishing the cast of SS/Adlo, the Tank will pick the healer every time.
I usually give it a few seconds after the ready check before I pull as a tank. If I pull early its because I was waiting for the tank, and we got the go ahead to pull, but he decided to wait the extra 10-15 seconds and either mess up my pre-buff opener, or my stacks on something are about to run down, and I pulled early, because I don't want to lose them due to tank neglegence. Just to specify, I'm talking about summoner dreadwyrm stacks, not greased lightning.
Nothing more annoying than a tank not pulling when DPS/Healers have:
-Blood of the Dragon
-Grease lightning stacks
-Huton
-Bobhamut trance/Aether Trail stacks burning
-Adlos (especially a crit)
Also dislike when tanks just stare at the boss for 2 mins and they're just like "hey umm..hi..uhhh we're gonna fight you okay..uhh yep ready got my drink poured and my..yep"
Monk in the back "THERE GOES MY GREASE LIGHTNING YOU JERK!"
Honestly, as a tank I don't keep track of the status of DPS and their various stacks. I do keep track of whether or not the healer is casting on me. I admittedly have a serious dislike for DPS that think their stupid stacks are the end-all be-all indicator of when I should pull, though. If I stop, it's for a good reason. Maybe I noticed that the healer is low on mana or is not nearby. Maybe the other DPS is in a cutscene. Maybe the healer or the other DPS told me in voice chat that they need a second. Maybe my own TP or mana is low. Maybe someone came into my room to ask me something IRL and I'm distracted. There's lots of reasons I may pause between pulls. If the SMN is so hellbent to use those stacks as to go in and Akh Morn the crap out of the next mob before I've pulled it, clearly they're OK tanking it so I'll be more than happy to swap to DPS stance. Hope you saved Swiftcast for Titan-Egi! ^^Nothing more annoying than a tank not pulling when DPS/Healers have:

I get that there's truly slow tanks out there, but seriously, losing your stacks isn't going to kill you and it isn't going to stop us from making any important DPS checks. We're talking about Duty Finder content here and frankly, I don't care about your parser numbers in St. Mocianne's Arboretum. When I'm doing actual raid content in a Party Finder, I ready check and use a pull macro so DPS can get strong openers. I've tried using it in DF, but trigger-happy DPS (or a trigger-happy OT) have ended up pulling it halfway through my macro way too many times so I just gave up on using it and I pull whenever it looks like everyone's ready.

One day, a monk complained to me because his GL fell off inbetween two packs of enemies in a dungeon.
I didn't even stop inbetween these two mob packs, so I explain to him that I actually went as fast as I could, and that I even started to continue moving when the last mob was a few hits away from dying.
His answer: "lol u need to learn how 2 use sprint noob tank".
Since that day, I pull whenever I want and I don't care.
I'm dying xD +1 fellow Canucklehead. And a Tomahawk/Shield Lob means "First thing to kill" Not, divide and conquer. But hey somehow we make do. We all make mistakes, sometimes repeatedly, for 30 whole minutes. BUT HEY, when life gives you lemons, you sell them in Canada because fruits and vegetables are going for a ridiculous price right now, like $7 for cauliflower. WHO EATS CAULIFLOWER ANYWAYS?!? That's right, NO ONE.
I actually just did this in Dusk Vigil on my Pld. I noticed last second the whm wasn't in the boss area and wasn't sure if he was ninja afk or not so i like ran ahead and stopped mid way to Babar (sick 90's cartoon reference bra!).
Hell is where all the fun people are anyways, and warm people... I live in Canada, and my feet are cold, so I approve of your message!
Also add MCH Reload. These "bullets" do fall-off like GL. I can't believe how many tank hesitations I had to deal with trying to keep bullets on cooldown. It is more damage and it's important for our opener :/Nothing more annoying than a tank not pulling when DPS/Healers have:

I'm a tank too, and after that ready check is complete you better be pulling soon, like real soon. If you have not gotten in the habit of ready checking before a big fight, you need to get used to it. This isn't a raid where you need a pull macro but by golly you have no right to complain about "slow DPS" after this point. These cooldowns can take minutes to come up again.
To be honest I dislike comments like these. When dungeouns are slow, people are quick to blame the dps. Why aren't they doing their best, why aren't they pulling their weight. Yes, there are the lazy ones, but when the dps want to go fast and do their best, you have the non-caring tank. (Not that you have said this, but just merely pointing it out. Again not attacking you, just using your comment in my argument.)
