1. True probably. Wish I could wear my full set of pvp gear. But it takes a week of 3 to 5 hours a day to even get to even get lvl 25.hardcore pvper here, after looking at your match performance it is pretty clear you are pretty new to pvp, the reasons are arnt getting comms are as follows
1: your stats are very poor when compared to what people of the same job can achieve
2: as said before, commendations are not nearly as important as getting back in the queue, that is a side effect of how the queues are for FL
3: asking/beggin for commendations always carries a very common chance of people NOT commending you, simply because you asked (plus it draws attention to your match performance)
in short, practise warrior more, play more FL matches, be polite, dont ask for commendations

Damage will probably improve once I hit higher 40s and can wear pvp gear with crit/determination. Capping nodes who cares? By the time I run to one there's already someone else there. I don't fight to cap to improve my stats. But yeah, took me a while to learn to pre-buff before going in so I dish out the burst. That's the major difference between pvp and pve. And frankly,if I wanted to get more kills/damage I could by kill stealing with fell cleave. That is, I would just fell cleave enemies wounded by my teammates to nab the kill - but kinda a waste cuz in those instances the enemy is gonna die regardless. I use thrill of war to "heal" my party and save limit break for cometeors or the large burst that happens at the outset of an engagement. So I think I'm okay overall.
2. Yeah I get it. Need to get on that queue train.

PvP gear is only for minmaxing which you sure as hell don't need to output good dmg as WAR

I never give commendations to people who beg for them. Maybe you should stop asking for them verbally, and try showing people you deserve them.
The real joke here is here no one cares about commendations in pvp cause getting out and re queue to get on the q train is much more important lol. Also Ive gotten to rank 49 in another gc in less than 3weeks + like Dark said pvp gear wont make ur current dmg that much higher

it is unfair because everyone (or at least i think everyone) want tthe stuff from the achievments. if one person asks - and then get the commendations - the other people will get nothing. so for me the person who asks is egoistic and don't care for the other people. How exactly is it unfair? And by what logical, rational process do you come to the decision of who to give it to? Think fast cuz you got about 1.5 secs before the whole team disbanded!
Cmon bro. Be serious. Commendations is not a well designed system for rewarding and encouraging good play.
You don't know what you're even saying...
i don't have 1.5 seconds to decide who will get my comendation. i have the whole duty time to decide. if they leave before i can click their names that's not my problem.
if there is a person who leads the team, telling where to position and what to attack, when to draw back, this is the person who gets my commendation. if there is no one leading the party.... i only play white mage, so i usually give the commendation to the other healer because healer-ethics xD. if there is no other healer or the other healer was too bad i give it to a person who was helping me when i was under attack (but most of the time this is just the other healer. btw i think this is one of the main-jobs of a tank in pvp). people who ran too far away from my healrange will not get commendations, also no cloudd striiife or people with other stupid and uncreative names will ever get a commendation from me... if someone was making a good joke / entertaining me in the chat he will probably get one... just some of my criteria for giving commendations.
long story short: i just giva a commendation to a person who was helping ME - not to the best player of the whole team.

That's what I said. People don't seem to get it. NO ONE cares about commendations in pvp. You know what? I'll just follow the crowd and do that from now on. Circle, then X for insta leave after every match. The real joke here is here no one cares about commendations in pvp cause getting out and re queue to get on the q train is much more important lol. Also Ive gotten to rank 49 in another gc in less than 3weeks + like Dark said pvp gear wont make ur current dmg that much higher

Yeah but crit really helps to secure those kills...
I always commend whoever healed in pvp even if they did fairly poorly, I dont care how well everyone else did. Giving commends to healers will hopefully make them que more. The only exception is if they were jerks. I understand some jerky-ness, but it got to be that even if we're ahead people still complain and argue. I just started to ignore it. Haven't pvp'd in a while though the ques got too long, excited about next patch. (also idk if im the minority here but I never commend people who ask)
Funny how the title of this thread was "Jerks in PvP" yet turned into a thinly veiled "People don't give me commendations when I ask for them" thread.
As others have stated OP, the most cringe-inducing thing you can do is ask for commendations. I never, ever, EVER give commendations to those who ask for them. Whenever I see a request for them I immediately wince in real life and don't think twice about not commending them.
Honestly, I tend to commend healers the most simply because they get the least from PvP and tend to suffer the heaviest burden.
There are no achievements for healers, and they have to babysit 7 other children who constantly bitch and moan about "muh lack of healz" and other garbage like that.
Focus more on the PvP itself, not just commendations from it.
