I'm down with that since it was tiring that Minfillia had to depend on others to do the fighting. There really no point for Minfillia to even carry that weapon she has all the time when she never use it.

Probably for the same reason they designed Lara Croft like they did. Since you're going to be seeing her a lot, might as well make her attractive (although admittedly I'm only up to lvl 38 on the storyline after she gets kidnapped, so I don't know how much more of her I'll be seeing though).

She'll still be around for quite some time....but she continues to be relatively useless.
