Neverreap for duty roulette just now.
Starts with good geared WAR, good gear on MCH, Mediocre on SMN. Ok, this should be a good run.

Tank pulls first island, goes deliverance, no defensive CD. Ok, not a great sign, but its the first island.

Tank pulls full second island, deliverance, no CD except thrill of battle right at the very end of the mobs life. Definately not a good sign.

Jump to boss before I can get off my SSII. Not great but whatever.

Before tank even lands, SMN pulls boss. Bad.

After Boss, all mobs, no CD, maybe hes saving them for the Final sting mobs.

Pulls all 4 bees and trees in deliverance, still no CD, I'm spamming heals to keep him up and as such, miss the quick window for final sting. (I can't Holy to stun as no defensive CD are being used.)No Holmagang, Tank dies. I keep us up until I get stung.

I die, I say "I don't mind healing deliverance, but please use defensive CD"

They start popping off about final sting not being blockable, to whick I have to respond "I know this, but I'm stuck spamming heals and missed Bene because of it, also I can't get any DPS in."

"Less talky, more healy" tank responds.

"Yeah..." I say, and stop dead. Eventually they kick.


Those times when runs could be so good, but people like DPS in fate leveled WAR ruin it.

I get the weirdest roulettes ever.

I queued into leveling roulette as a DRK, and got an in-progress Haukke Manor. The healer and DPS immediately tell me to just run ahead and not ask any questions. That tells me right away they're trying to fight something, so I dash to the basement floor since I didn't see them anywhere on the first floor.

As soon as I reach the stairs, I see the healer running up with a massive army of mobs behind him. Died laughing. Literally.

Apparently the previous tank DC'd before the dungeon even began, and the healer and DPS three-manned it up until they reached the basement, which is when they decided to straight up run through all the mobs there while picking up the keys to open the second boss room. Apparently I showed up right as they opened that room. We managed to clear the mobs that were still chasing everyone around and cleared the dungeon afterwards.

Got CM for my main scenario roulette. During the first pull, one of the tanks goes "Babies crying BRB." After a couple of seconds of running around like chickens with our heads chopped off, the other tank pipes up, "Sorry about the rough patch, didn't think I was going to MT." Someone asks why and he answers simply, "Numbers." And yeah the other tank had like 3k more HP and CM so naturally the one with higher numbers would MT. Makes sense, to me at least. One of the DPS couldn't wrap his head around it and yelled at the tank for queuing as a tank and not wanting to tank. That raised a flag, but in a moment of genre savviness the tank simply bowed out and said he was closing chat.

Of course the DPS wouldn't let it go and said something like, "He's going to break our cannons!" And someone else said, "Yea! I bet he will." Seeing that he had backup, the first DPS said, "CM is soo easy, but all it takes is one scrub to ruin it." That would be you. The tank doesn't let anything touch the cannons and the DPS and yesman say nothing. After the second boss, the DPS says, "If he had chat I would have told him to move it Cid for more DPS." Yesman, "I bet his chat isn't even closed." Seeing that he wasn't getting a rise out of the tank he starts nitpicking anything he can.

The tank did a fine job, took the abuse, and kept going. He could have just left or dramabombed back, but he didn't and for that I had to give him a com. So tank, if you read this, I'm rooting for you buddy.

Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak, I'm the healer (lvl 26 CNJ). I let the tank know we'll need to CC some of these, since 3 or monsters makes it difficult for me to heal, especially when poison damage is added on to it. Not surprisingly this advice goes unheeded (using CC is like letting the world know you have a tiny pecker/flat chest. I completely forgot about this), and the tank ends up dying a lot because of it. I actually found the DPSers in the group easier to heal, surprise surprise. The archer had the good sense to cross-class Cure. If he hadn't have done that, this group would have gone nowhere. So Mr. Archer, if you ever read this post, good call, dude!

Yesterday I was doing some A1 farming (well 5 runs) and I was one tank and the other was my boyfriend. Everything seemed ok, but two times out of five, we wiped.... because they killed 0.5 too fast (using the LB) and then didn't manage to kill the oppressor in time... two times wipe at 1% of oppressor. I even managed to go in DPS mode on my paladin which I am scared off because I seem to loose aggro fast ç_ç and it didn't help. Still I don't really understand I'm used to have always the other oppressor in focus to see their %

Queued Titan hard over the weekend. Every single noob to the fight (myself included) dropped to the floor on the second edge drop (we were fine on the first drop and were expecting it, missed it being a repeated thing.) Amusing more than anything else. Hey, guess who's new to the trial? Everyone who dropped at exactly the same time. Cleared it on the second go, also had someone being helpful and making sure we knew what happened. Yup, we figured it out.

Arboretum daily roulette this morning.
I had the weirdest BLM ever in my party. He wasn't BAD or anything, it was just...every single time the limit break bar would fill up one bar, he'd immidiately use it.
No matter if we were right before a bossfight, or in a bossfight, or if we were fighting a pack of only 2 mobs.
At one point I was like "you know that saving up the melee lb for the bosses would be more useful?" but didn't get an response.
He was also very particular about requesting the party to wait after the skip at the bee queen's place. I thought that maybe he had ran out of MP or had something to do in RL, but nope, he wanted to burn down the mobs still standing at the top of the slide.
Like, WHY? Everyone was already in safety. We just stood there for a full 2 minutes while he threw Fire II up the slide. What did we do the skip for then?! xD

Had a shocker of a run in the research facility last night though. I went in with a friends new char, a monk. First pull the DRK's not holding aggro from me, all I have to do is my basic rotation and the mobs are on me. He's obviously a fresh 60 by the looks of his gear so I check his accessories and it's a mix of vit, str and dex, some of which is still 115. Oh well, we'll get through eventually, as long as the white mage can keep us up, my 15k hp compared with his 12k is keeping me alive when he dies (repeatedly) so we'll soldier on and hopefully finish it...

The Drk must have hit the floor about 10-15 times by the time we hit 25 minutes left on the timer. I tried my best to work out what he could do (other than sorting his dex accessories out which he admitted were just for ilvl (even at 115?!)) to get through this as he was saying he had failed to get through it yesterday as well. He didn't appear to be truly awful and had a basic grasp of his combos, although was holding off his cds to the last moment or not at all and seemed to not have provoke in his hotbar despite having GLD at 22. To make matters worse the whm's only words throughout the dungeon are along the lines of 'oops bad dsl' after a near wipe and 'ahhh broke keyboard' after an actual wipe on the first final boss attempt. Her healing wasn't coming fast enough nor strong enough and after yet another wipe she decides to back out with just the final final boss to go. Seconds later the tank dcs and doesn't come back. -.-

Luckily 2 fc members enjoyed a bonus and we blast through in minutes.

At least it made for an interesting run.

CM, I get healer that only does Medica 2 and "stfu" when I asked people to not follow me for last pull... Wasn't even pointed at him, was for people that didn't know the run and could've pulled something by accident...

Also, what is up with WHMs that only do Med 2 and think healing is only that?

This paladin in Pharos Sirius HM who pulled everything from the living rock on - the DPS consisted of two dragoons. Just why o.o
