grats OP. I just finished one of my long term goals earlier today..... I earned the Rod of Luminary. So much fishing, and the glamour isn't even anything special, but I've just wanted to get it anyways as a goal. Apparently when I went to get it from Jonathas, he also had the Ironworks Rod waiting for me, I didn't even remember that one, lol.
1 goal 2 poles, lol

Edit: Next long term goal is Honest Gillionairre title......Dec 2017 if 4.0 steps up the leve rewards

Congrats man! Those look nice! As for my own long term goals...

Get comfortable with DRK: Not done. I like the aesthetic and Plunge, but I just can't get over how fragile tanking as it is. I always feel like I have to use three times as many cd's as War or PLD just to barely scrape by.

Level and gear up my LTW, ALC, and WVR. Not done.

Get Field Commander glamour: COMPLETE!

Level the rest of my jobs to 60: Half way done.

I'd say raiding, but honestly I have more fun for less work doing things like a 2-man T1 with a BRD for a tank. I at least want to finish all the Coils and get into a Crystal Tower run.

I no longer have any major goals. While completing Relic would be a goal, I'm stuck on which job to do it for (NIN, PLD, BRD, WHM, and soon to be DRK). NIN is my main, but I haven't been performing well on it lately; having found myself wanted to go back to tanking and healing. Then, there's DRK and PLD. I'm 100% comfortable with PLD, but after meddling with DRK (currently Lv58), I'm beginning to like her as a better tank now due to the abilities (I can recover HP and MP in faster intervals than I could as PLD).

I would like to get around to completing all my side quests. Before HW, I completed all quests that wasn't class related.

My long term goal was to get my last fishing achievement and with it the title "Master Fisher" (catch 10,000 HQ fish). Would have got it a long long long long time ago if collectable fish in heavensward would have counted. So. All fish caught, all fishing achievement obtained......now just the long long long wait for Big Game Fishing Heavensward Edition to be introduced

I guess my past ones from pre-HW that I achieved:
Get everything to 50
Fully meld the top level gear for at least either crafter or gatherer. Fully melded a Forager's set (excluding the off-hands)
Finish my SCH Zeta
Get my chocobo past rank 10

Current goals:
Save up enough money for Ishgard housing
Get the Twintania and Penguin Prince minions
Finish my AST Anima weapon and then do one for SCH
Get max rep with all the beast tribes. Missing Amal'jaa, Sylphs, and Sahagin

I think I'm just gonna limit myself to those for right now seeing as doing two Anima weapons is gonna be a pain.

From what I'm experiencing with it (currently Lv58), I rely on my Defensive CDs (obviously) and I keep Convalescence 100% of the time, especially if a healer is present. Aside of that, I'm now able to keep "Darkside" up due to "Blood Price". Once that up, I'm able to alternatively spam "Abyssal Drain" and my "Souleater" combo.

Grats. I can't bring myself to doing red scrips much anymore... I left the last several weeks untouched. Did a bit for crafting, prior to the reset. In all honesty, I feel like I'm done with red scrips whenever I look at my glamour setup using the looks of the FSH chest piece. That thing is absolutely awesome to dye colors with. The scheme just works so damn well.

How do you tank gritless with it, though? I've been doing it a lot lately since I'm 100% comfortable doing that with either of the other tanks when possible, but as soon as I drop grit I feel like I'm praying for that dark dance parry to proc because I have absolutely no other cooldowns available and I still feel like my HP drops way too fast.
