Not the only Void Ark run this has happened in, but happening too many times that it makes me question things.

Multiple Bards, usually 3-4 in the entire raid. And usually I'm the only one singing even after repeatedly pointing this out. Why.

(Although I did run into that one in-progress Void Ark run last week as a Bard where there were 7 Bards, 6 BLM, and 2 DRG as our DPS. And we actually did use alliance chat to rotate Foe Requiem there. One of the Black Mages joked that we were having a contest to see who was the worst singer, the metric being 'which one makes the bosses' ears bleed the most'.)

Not a negative story but I randomly joined a Titan HM fight as my healer. Learned the other healer instantly left after the first wipe and most of the people were new. Was just wipe after wipe and eventually someone felt that they should leave because they keep dying..thankfully I convinced that person to stay. Anyways, after around 40 minutes of constant wiping we finally beat the boss and it just felt really nice that I was thanked for not abandoning the team and staying to the end...I still get warm feelings thinking about that fight.

In response to all those sub optimal BLM posts lately, I leveled BLM to 60, did okay until 60, then I had trouble figuring out the rotation at 60 and spent one dungeon doing some pretty sub optimal damage, but I was with a team and apologized for my fresh 60 approach to the job. Then I put BLM on the back burner until I have time to look at the recommended rotation and practice on a dummy. SMN has been far more flexible and intuitive to me, and Enochian seems a lot harsher than having Blood of the Dragon fall off as dragoon.

Basically if you can't play the class optimally, and you know that, why not try other jobs until you find a good fit? Rather than continue to waste others time by refusing to take constructive criticism or try to get better.

I kept a BLM guide someone posted should I ever desire leveling it to 60. Maybe it'll be of some use for you? ^^

Something odd happened yesterday on my lvl50 roulette. Not that it's uncommon, it keeps happening specially in low level content. And it's about players who aren't bots (I want to think they aren't) but play as if the rest of the party were just NPCs and don't even read the chat. Do they have the chatbox hidden?
Anyways, zone into Wanderer's normal, me as blm, a warrior, a monk (or was he ninja?) and this kind of weird WHM. Bonus pops and since the healer is watching the opening cs I'm guessing it's our bonus. Protect, SS2 hard cast, done, we start. First hint: WHM nukes without cleric and leaves the tank at around 30% HP. Then starts to spam cure3. Finish pull and proceed to the next. Tank doesn't pull too big since we got a newbie and things go fine, no danger. Weird heals though, always cure3 and when things got a lil excited, medica2 spam. And the stone2 nuking without cleric. WHM is dry and tank tells her to not spam aoe heals or she will run oom. At the same time the tank is typing I just turned on my keyboard (ps4 peasant here) and wrote "Do you know how healing spells work?"
This was directed at the WHM but it came out as if I was answering the tank hehe. Tank: "..." I apologized and said I was typing as she was. Anyhow, the healer doesn't seem to read, no answer and proceeds like before. Got to the flan boss and I wondered in party if she was a bot, but apparently no, since she even activated some of the switches earlier. She died when the flan slapped her hard but no issue, it was dead shortly after and she respawned and rebuffed. So yeah, no chaltlog reading, no advice taking, she also was a PSN user by the ID after I checked her so no botting there.
I've seen far too many players like that sadly, those who either have the chatbox hidden from the UI or just plain ignore :/ Do they know this game is online aka together with other real people?

I once ran into a couple in Expert Roulette (they spent the whole dungeon practically ERPing in party chat) they were a WHM/DRK couple, while my boyfriend and I were DRG/MNK.

They were lucky we could burn things down fast because neither of them knew how to play at level 60. WHM was only using Cure III (Your WHM reminded me of my this WHM, however we're not from the same data center.) and DRK was only using Grit, their aggro AoE, and no buffs... even on bosses.

Anyway, the dungeon took about 30min longer than it should have because the two of them needed to constantly stop to type out how much they wanted to... uh... "repopulate their server" I guess. The WHM even removed her pants so show she was serious. Smh.

I have a couple. Not particularly horrific either of them but still, weird enough for me to remember them. Both are as a tank.

First is Garuda normal. Joined in progress, and was greeted by carnage. Turned out the dragoon thought he was a tank ._. Even after I'd taken Garuda, he still stood in front of it and ate its cleave attack. He didn't even move for slipstream. The healer still kept him up though, amazingly and we cleared first go. Not really that bad, but it's the first I've seen this happen. Is this common or was I just unlucky?

Second is Titan normal. This one was so frustrating since I'm on ps4 and keyboard wasn't working at the time so I couldn't say anything. Healer tries to heal in cleric stance on the first attempt and was healing me for less than 250. I burned through every cooldown but still went down and we wiped. Second attempt, he didn't use cleric but still barely heals for 300hp. We barely clear. He only used cure I and medica, no regen, cure II. I have no idea how he made it to lvl36 like that.

I personally don't mind banter during dungeons but uh
maybe keep it PG 13 in the public chat, huh? Please.
