Incorrect. The post implies that human minds are fallible and that the ability to revisit ANY of them at will would be a good change.

And no. The inn room is garbage and misses an ENORMOUS chunk of cutscenes including literally every Heavensward sidequest that isn't in the Scholasticate and about half of all class/job quests.

I looked up the Journal, and yeah I noticed certain class/job quests don't have all the cutscenes. Still no big deal though. Not like there aren't other ways for people to see those scenes again.

As for the battles...oh yes, let me level all my current classes to 60 again on a brand new lv1, including Dark Knight. That's a not-at-all-stupid idea.

I never said it was a good idea either. Probably as good an idea as allowing players to do them again as i200+.

None if this precludes new content. None of us are asking for new content to be added TO these quests.

I know. People want something akin to a 'New Game Plus' experience... except this isn't a single player game. Hence, a better solution would be to have new quests in that same format (no, not additional class/job quests, which I never said) across future patches, instead of being stuck in nostalgia.

We just want to revisit them. It seems strange to me you'd even post about it since by your own admission you don't even understand what's being asked for or why.

At the time I was under the impression the cutscenes were available in the Inn, and even then it's no big deal since there's ways one can see them again if they miss them that much.

This. And I want to revisit Gladiator and Paladin now that I know how Tanking works. Since those were my first jobs.

THIS. Been thinking about it before and being able to repeat quests would be awesome. Class quests could be a good start to it, since there aren't that much at least.

Silently hoping that I could rewatch every dialogue I've ever had with Haurchefant... I know it's possible to rewatch it online, but it's not the same if it's not your own character standing there. ;_;

I would like this. Kinda like a New Game plus, as long as I don't have to re-unlock everything or redo side quests then it'd be a neat feature.

I actually had a lot of fun forgetting what happened in the last DRK quest. Your trainer gets quite flustered when you don't ask about the dark voice. I wonder what he would have said if I could tell him I completely forgot about what he was talking about.

That's a really good idea. There's a real life example I can share - I recently watched Game of Thrones for a second time. The amount of new information that I absorbed was immense & makes a LOT more sense now than at the first watch. There's storylines in FFXIV that are exactly the same - I'd love to review the whole SCH story again now that we've got Wanderer's Palace HM.

The astrologian level 60 fight was really cool. I'd love a way to play it again.

Unfortunately not everything is available for viewing in the journal. I wanted to get some screens of certain job quest cut scenes in better weather/different times of the day, but they were sadly not in the selection.

This may be true - but EVERY quest, regardless of whether it has a cutscene or not, has a journal entry. The text in the journal entries is VERY detailed - in fact, from time to time I've noticed that the text clarifies parts of the quest story that were difficult to pick up on from the quest actions and NPC dialog alone. If you want to remember and relive the old quests, check out your journal!

I do agree, though, that it'd be nice to be able to redo some of the quest battles. There were some interesting fights, and particularly for some of my earlier jobs when I was far less experienced a player, I'd like to try them again knowing the things I know now.

I would even be OK with the Inn room if we could queue up several cutscenes. It drives me nuts that you spend more time in loading screens and navigating menus than actually watching cutscenes when I go there.

There's also something about being there, those little dialogues from your enemies as you proceed to battle with them aren't captured in the cutscenes.

Precisely. So your stats and ilvls are sort of capped.
And that you could possibly redo these class quests with full glammed gears, or full Emperor's gear or as a snowman or some weird gear (your preference really).

I actually made an alt for this reason, I played it until like level 7 or so, before I realized that to get to the part that I want to enjoy, I am going to have to suffer through like 50 hours of stuff I don't. I stopped playing that alt.

I've actually had to create alts to do some of these quests again, the nostalgia is so strong. Especially the rogues, they're one of my favorite guilds and I hate leaving them because they're so awesome.
