I'm still baffled at how people only notice the harp part of that bow. the other half is a dagger. look close. I'm going to assume that the bow can pull apart for music and close ranged combat. But if you ask me, that is a fusion weapon, and I like it.

I thought the same when I first saw it - the part about it being a dagger and some sort of string instrument on the bow itself.

I have thought for a while that the way they might implement advanced jobs within the current weapon locked armory system is to allow you to dual wield. The combination of weapons would result in a transformation of a GLD to a Paladin, for example. It looks like the Paladin weapon is also a two part weapon - a smaller sword melded together with a larger blade, forming the huge weapon he is holding. It could also just be his sword is overlapping a very thin and pointy shield though. We'll have to wait and see.

On another note - I don't understand why it would be so horrible for ARC to be tied to Bard. After all in FFXI, Bards were one of the most sought after pulling jobs. Like to pull with arrows and deal damage? You went with Ranger. Like to pull with songs and provide party support? You played Bard. Why is this considered such a stretch here?
