Nobody boots up XIV hoping for fun. If you wanted fun you would choose a game with an actual combat system and not a shitty WoW clone.

I must say I prefer the combat in this game to most MMO's. I am not a huge fan of the 'action combat' in games like Tera, Blade and Soul and Wildstar. Guild Wars 2 was decent as well.
