From the last interview of Yoshida san by 4Gamer, Yoshida san has mentioned that the he already got a list of which mounts are going to be able to fly in 3.2, and the promised (when?) Adamantoise mount will be one of them.

I'm waiting for 3.2 to drop and see how it flies? True Gamera-style? I hope when the Lalafell fly on them that Lalafell cling to their shells like they do on Ahriman.

I also think this is pretty ridiculous (the turtle gaining flight in the first place). If they are going silly already, then yes, please make it fly like Gamera, rocket engines and all. I will then have to own it. Otherwise: meh.
