Agreeing with everyone saying the GTX 970. I run on a 770 and I run at max resolution with very little lag, but I also have an i7 4770K processor helping things out. GTX 970 is one of the better values on the market today, and it'll last you at least 2-3 years.

I have an R9 290x and it does pretty good with DX11 i stay at 60 fps on maxium so no complaints!

GTX 970 already fine enough for DX11. With OC on afterburner having battle on S rank isn't drop the fps much.

Get a GTX970. They are cheaper now. A GTX970 can max out this game in 1080p without even reaching 100% GPU usage. It is also a future proof card. The graphics of this game will be further enhanced at some point in future according to Yoshi. Though we don't know when and what enhancements we will see. A GTX970 will keep you happy for long time to come.

As Xero pointed out you have to fix your system bottleneck, which is your CPU or you will still have problems no matter what GPU you put in.

After that if you still need to upgrade your GPU, a gtx970 or 980 would be the way to go, with the 970 probably being the better cost to performance value, especially if you are going to double up for SLI.

You can even find factory OC'ed 970's that pretty much run as well as a non-OC'ed 980 for a good deal less money, you just need to factor in the slight increase in power draw and the increased heat generation, although that really shouldn't be an issue unless you are doing SLI, have a crowded case or are super ocd about things like temps and heat dispersion with your comp (I am and always mod my cases for increased airflow and looks).

I would recommend the GTX 970 as well. I just installed this a few minutes ago (replaced a R9 270x that crapped out on me).

Playing this game at 1080p, I get a steady 60 frames per second if I cap the game at that (max settings plus FXAA). Higher if I uncap the frame rate.

No overclocking, air cooled.

CPU: AMD FX 8350 4.0Ghz
PSU: Corsair 80+ Gold 500W

While I'll freely admit that I don't know everything about every component made by every manufacturer, I have been building my own comps for over a decade all from scratch and often modded.

So I'm curious, what is it that people are saying that shows that they have no clue what they are talking about and what knowledge and input do you have that shows that you do?
