    repairing other players gear

this would be super useful in DF where a party member's gear breaks then you lack the dps to clear a fight. Which has happened to me multiple times in he vault and If there was a way for me to fix their gear we could have solved the issue right there instead of asking him to leave so we could clear it

it could be like a little mini menu showing the repair cost that would be paid to the crafter doing the repairs, use the crafters dark matter then click accept and let the repairs happen

Yeah, I'd like to see this too actually. Having to leave progression because of someone's equipment being near breaking can really destroy momentum sometimes. A2S was awful for this because of the amount of mobs contained in it. x_x

We used to be able to do this in 1.0. I'm extremely baffled as to why they removed it.

I'm all for this. It'd be a very useful feature.

we used to be able to do this in early 2.0 as well, so the technology is there. I'm sure they removed it for stupid reasons like "lol new players may not understand it and not pay there sub". Sounds like something SE would say.

*waiting patiently for someone to come in screaming about how you shouldn't 'suck' and enter dungeons with badly damaged gear*

I mean, you shouldn't, but we're all human - it's going to happen every once in awhile

I've always thought this would be a good option, and doesn't make sense to not have it. "Hey! I can meld your gear, and fix my own, but I can't fix yours!".

Though I'm sure they would say something like "server limitations!", but then introduce it later using a different kind of material for each slot piece....

Sooooo... eliminate game features because a few asshats might resort to asshattery? You can't eliminate mean people and completely neutering a game to make it impossible for anyone to exploit anything and taking all the fun out it isn't the answer. The one place repairing other peoples gear would really come in handy is for progression, when you're already in a group of people you know.

Personally responsibility would be a much better solution. Remember to repair your gear if you don't want a 2% chance of some rando in DF trying to extort you for repairs.

I completely 100% support the idea of repairing someone else's gear btw, if that wasn't abundantly clear.
