from wanting minions easier to content nerfed. may you ask and hope SE listens? sure i am all down for that, i am not against SE giving everyone housing.

My question is why defend or discuss what the other players do? Shouldn't it simply be the people responsible for the current system have to be let go and hire people from another company who know how to provide housing?

I do think there should be a free small house, yes, with larger houses limited. Fortunately, at the very least SE seems to be giving people rooms in 3.3-3.4, so they're going in the right direction.

XIV is really the worst MMO I've ever played when it comes to managing housing. Even is XI, held back by PS2 limitations and ancient servers that are far more limited than XIV's still gave everyone their own unique instanced house. And before anyone pulls the "XIV has more players!" argument, XI has been around for more than 10 years, and someone's house from 2003 is still there on the server, meaning the data from old characters still exists. And now, even with those same PS2 limitations, XI's houses have two stories and a personal instanced garden/beach.

All I read from the XIV devs are excuses when they are clearly capable of it, otherwise.

The solution is simple.

1. Only one personal house/plot per account, per server, with all alts on the same server sharing the house/plot.
2. FC masters' ownership of FC house does not count against their one personal house.
3. Relinquished (forced or voluntary) plots re-enter the market via a 5 day (120 hours) blind auction with a hidden reserve price.
4. If the reserve is not met, the plot goes up for open sale starting with the standard starting price.

Thats all.

I didn't say everyone deserves a house. For those that put in the effort to get the money to buy a house, there is an insufficient amount of plots. That is not the right way. This isn't about making things easier, it's about allowing people to have what they worked for.

no, just because you got the money doesn't mean you deserve it.

how i feel is the right way any other way is wrong~ seriously just because you feel differently doesn't make you right.

i have worked very hard to try for a large plot. i don't have one yet and won't be able to get one for awhile.

no i do not deserve it, but i will try for it and hope i get one.
