lore shmore none of this game is real for fook sakes people, its a pretend world , with pretend characters, killing pretend mobs and yes traveling on pretend mounts, and experiencing a pretend story, lore is a weightless excuse when we allow players as snowmen and reindeer running around (oh but thats ok! lol) smh

Definitely glad this is being ditched, looks horrible in the world setting.

which setting a world with robot, flying fortress, airship, train, exo armor.... sure a bike don't fit into it.

people need to think a bit before think, FF14 is not a pure medieval fantasy world, it have a loooot of technology into it.

FFXIV it's the main MMO of FF series. Everything that have on other series should be implemented. I wanna Noctis car, Lightning Minion, Hope hair and more. We need more butt for female characters too. We need a water expansion. We need to swimming. And we need to climb steps.Swimming pools on houses. Every haircut from FF characters. We need cape gears like on FF IV.

Actually, Mako and Cerulium are most identical in both form and function. They are both a fictional energy that functions as an in world substitution for real world fossil fuels.

Heck, Hydaelyn even has its ownife stream that's identical to Gaia's.

Because of that. Seriously, if we wanted to fanboy/girl over other installments go play them (and, trust me, I do). But FFXIV is unique. The devs don't want to rehash everything constantly to the detriment of Eorzea's original lore. And a good chunk of the playerbase doesn't want them to either.

You are totally right. Fine with a coal powered one...that would be using coal to burn to boil water to create steam to run the engine. A steam-punk magictek bike! Oh, wait...totally already suggested that. Glad you agree with me!
