Yes. It did. For THREE(?) years.
I laughed so hard...and was mad at the same time..when the whole story this year boiled down to "Oh, there is this loooong lost tradition of ringing a bell" and I'm like "Are you effing serious..? Even in ingame time, it's only been 5 years since we did that!"
I guess SE would like us to forget too that this ever happened..x)
