BLM and WHM Anima weapons switched

Does anyone else feel like the team goofed when assigning classes to the new weapons? The BLM Anima Weapon bears a more organic-looking, flowing design reminiscent of the Thyrus whereas the WHM weapon has a more rigid design and even has echoes of the Stardust Rod design.

I can post pics once I get home to demonstrate my point, but does anyone else get the same feeling?

Absolutely. I do not understand these two at all. The BLM staff is very heavenly looking and almost looks like there is a Phoenix on the top of it. The WHM staff is very sharp with an almost fiery, destructive look to it.

I though the blm one looked a bit similar in shape to the stardust rod, but with a wing replacing the meteor

The whm weapon looks more like thyrus than a blm weapon. It shares the same kind of stylisation and colour scheme. Side-on, the whm weapon looks weird, but when viewed from the front it looks very much like a whm weapon.

Blm weapon i have only seen from the side on images found on line so havent a clue.

I like to think that's the devs attempt at humor regarding the DPS healer meta.

The WHM one has the old Thyrus wings sticking out the top of it. I just noticed that last night.

Once you see it, it definitely fits the WHM theme more.

They are for sure reversed and as a BLM myself it actually really bothers me. Even better? google the name of the black mage staff. It screams white mage lore, not black mage.

In Norse mythology, Hvergelmir (Old Norse "bubbling boiling spring"[1]) is a major spring. Hvergelmir is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. In the Poetic Edda, Hvergelmir is mentioned in a single stanza, which details that it is the location where liquid from the antlers of the stag Eikþyrnir flow, and that the spring, "whence all waters rise", is the source of numerous rivers.[2] The Prose Edda repeats this information and adds that the spring is located in Niflheim, that it is one of the three major springs at the primary roots of the cosmic tree Yggdrasil (the other two are Urðarbrunnr and Mímisbrunnr), and that within the spring are a vast amount of snakes and the dragon Níðhöggr.

As many know- the word "Yggdrasil" has always been a symbol for life/knowledge/light.
