Me tank and my healer friend went into an ex roulette got Pharos Sirius, so we had these two dps that didn't know the fights and one of them would hardly listen when i would tell them the fights. So like the curiously kitty I am i checked their search info to see that they were married in game thanks to the info in their comments. we wiped on the last boss cause we didn't do enough damage, so i said "ok you please start dodging things and we need a little more dps" and I swear the chat started getting spammed with "you are a bad tank" "learn how to tank" "we can t do this because of this bad tank" @.@

A couple of days ago, I queued for my trial and got Bismarck. Everyone left before the fight even started. And tonight I was doing Void Ark with people in my FC and a DPS in our alliance (can't remember which job) immediately left. Guess they changed their mind and didn't want to do it? or accidentally queued for it? Who knows.

Ran low level roulette on Bard yesterday and got Brayflox. Popped in and we had a Gladiator tank. "Ok cool its just brayflox, maybe he just hasnt finished leveling conjurer for the quest." Nope. I bard tanked most of the dungeon. Turns out he hadn't done a quest that wasn't MSQ. He didn't even know class quests existed. To his credit he did try and was brand new. Being a PLD main I did my best to give him tips and he did follow those he could. We ended up running out of time but I told him if he transfered to my server to look me up and I'll help him learn the ways of the wall. I had to coach the White Mage through proper use of her mana and overhealing as well as how awesome some of her skills were as well. As infurating as the run was I do enjoy teaching people and actually having an impact on them so it was good.

My bf gave up on the new relic, he started it for SCH but he doesn't really want to do the 3rd step; I, on the other hand, want to continue for my MNK and maybe WHM.

So yesterday evening while I was doing the beast tribes, he logs in, invites me to a party and without warning queue us for Dusk Vigil and he is tanking for me.

We did all the dungeons until the Aery, this is were the fun begins.
As soon as we load in, he notice that our temporary comrades' names are "familiar" (he's been playing since beta, while I joined a bit after).
Turns out that our two other party members were ex-Lich players and they both remembered him too.
I found it amusing, I know that a lot of Lich players transferred to other servers, but what are the chances to find each other on a duty?
The run went amazingly fast, we chatted a bit and in the end everyone got a commendation.

I know, nothing "big" happened, but I wanted to share this funny little experience.

Just got told by a tank to not play Foe's in Alex when the party comp was me (BRD), BLM, BLM, BLM, WAR, WAR, WHM, SCH.
Both healers were also DPSing.

100% sure it was a joke though since that tank's pull macro was hilarious.

I had an amazing run in Stone Vigil NM yesterday. Things were dying super fast and the tank even managed to hold aggro against me (this may sound weird, but whenever I play the dragoon, I usually steal aggro even although I attack the tank's target...). Right before the final boss our scholar said they can't promise much DPS during that fight, we all were like "wtf you're the healer, it's amazing enough that you actually do DPS". After the boss we agreed on who gives their commendation to whom so everyone got one

Doing Main Story roulette with my lvl 60 whm for the tomes, get Prae, the other lvl 60 WHM asks 'Can u solo heal or are u bad?' I loled pretty hard and just said 'I'm bad as hell' and he went 'ok, then u dps'

Friend and I did the vault last night to finish step two of my relic.. him BLM me DRG, with a DRK and AST. As we were going for the first pull, he commented to me that this one would be rough. I checked the DRK's gear.. i130 sword, slightly under leveled white HW gear, i90 STR accessories. Oooookay.


The first packs went sorta ok, with the tank mostly sorta holding aggro (friend and I each pulled a mob, but meh). I tried to spread my damage, but when we got to 2-3 mob pulls, even doing a chaos thrust+4th+phleb was pulling some mobs on me. On the first boss, I dumped my aggro after I got through my opener, and I think the boss stayed on the tank.. so not too bad. But the trash pulls after..

If I tried to spread my damage to avoid pulling aggro, one would go for my friend and the others for the healer, so I just tossed some dots and pulled things from the AST. Each trash pack seemed to get dicier and dicier, but no one was really at risk of dying. On the second boss, I immediately pulled hate.. and saw if I elusive jumped that time, the boss would run for my friend and not the tank. Figuring he wouldn't appreciate his BLM casts being cancelled, I just decided to (poorly) tank the boss, all while watching to see if the tank would pass him in threat. He.. never did. I died trying to LB the boss, AST ressed me right away, and I was able to get the LB through/we killed it before we wiped. The DRK dropped without a word.

We continued through the trash after while waiting for a replacement (I reasoned it wouldn't actually be any different than the pulls we had before), then the AST called in a PLD friend for the final trash pack and boss. I kinda wonder if the DRK's weapon broke inbetween bosses and that's why he lost all ability to hold hate.. but really, he couldn't have bought a better weapon??

Had 2 tanks instant leave while doing my relic, was on the vault and helping an FC member level while i did my relic the tanks looked at me( idk why i was lv 60 and had full Yasha + more ilvl 180) and they left....they was in full eso/diadem.....
