How much does Relic step 3 HQ crafts cost on your server?

That's the same tired excuse crafters giive "i want my investment back" when in reality they just want to milk people for as much gill as they can get and since the relic is something a lot of people want they are taking full advantage of it, this isn't a big server vs small server thing because tonberry some mats are hanging around 200-400k.and it's a big server while on levi they are no less then 1 mil, jps simply aren't that greedy. and it shows

Or they realize that they don't need to buy the items on day 1 when they won't be turning them in until day 20.

Or they have FC members/friends that will do the craft if they can round up the mats.

Or there are enough gatherers on their servers that the materials weren't driven through the roof by speculators.

I would blow up the MB price of the items myself, but I have no use for the gil and other things to do with my time beside crank out 20 of them per hour.

Yeah Midgardsormr prices are ridiculous, I guess that explains why this server is rampant with RMT now as there must be a lot of customers around buying gil to afford these prices.

Despite the rotations being online (most crafters do not look up rotations) there are as many NQ (useless) as there are HQ. So every time someone tries these with the expensive mats they are getting 1/2 NQ. This causes them to double the cost of their HQ, as it is the only one likely to sell at all. So cost is now up to 476k. List price is 585k. Total profit 109k for an item that is not selling and will be undercut once someone gathers enough mats themselves to flood the market. This is just my server, I am not sure on the costs on all of those mil+ servers. I can only imagine the mat costs on Chocobo are around 30-50k total for the fletching.

Well not everyone has blew through the first 2 stages yet, so the masses are not buying yet so my guess is undercutting it rampant so it most likely be better to buy now then later when lot of people are buying cause when there is a higher demand prices will most likely go up which is usually the trend I see on the MB.

Hyperion is bad. Most the items are well about 1mil at the moment. Only thing below that is the Kingcake that are going for 933k -.-

Currently on Exodus, we have the following prices.

Titanium Alloy Mirror - 2.5 mil for 1 piece, 6 mil if you're buying all 4 at once.
Dispelling Arrow - 1.3 mil for 1 piece
Kingcake - 600k for 1 piece, 5 mil if you're buying all 4 at once
Adamantite Francesca - 1 mil for 1 piece

As you can tell, there's some massive jumps in prices going on, but not a single one is incredibly cheap. At this point I miss the Zodiac step stuff, all of that is going for around 400k, and you only need one of each. WHY ON EARTH did they think 4 of each was a good idea!?

Not sure what the issue is. If you have contacts and friends that are crafters you can just bypass the markets and use a bit of human ingenuity to get a decent price over thinking you have to go the route of look at market board, search website to buy gil and then purchase said item off market board.

This isn't a gil sink. A gil sink actually removes gil from the system. This just shuffles it around.

The solution is simple, and it applies to any craftable item:

If you don't like the prices being set, craft them yourself or make friends with crafters. Otherwise, suck it up. You really can't blame people for wanting to get as much value for their time as they possibly can. Why bother going to the trouble of gathering the mats and collaborating with other specialists to craft some of the items only to get a pittance of gil back that you could easily make doing something else? An item is only "overpriced" if nobody is willing to pay for it. The price will stay at whatever the market will bear, and that'll go down with time as it has in the past. Free market, supply and demand, blah blah blah.
