In your opinion, should the game be free? Or cost less per month?

We've been in this stagnat expansion for almost 7 months and we've had less content, more nurfs, nurfs to things before they come out, lazy designed content, no class adjustments, more items added to cash shop and now recycled atma 3.0. They promised us that this expansion was going to be a great experience, that the reallocation of their manpower was going to give us so much awesome great things to do. Look where we are, players of all game styles, raiding, nonraiding and even craft and gathering players, we are all, or for the most part of us, fed up with how this game is looking. I'll ask you all your opinions, does a game that took 6 and a half hours to update 90mb of recycled contented and for half a year leave us picking up table scrap content, honestly still deserve 15 a month, knowing that SE said the development team isn't going to be increased and our content for 7 months has been lackluster at it's finest. Is this still the game you all had hoped and thought it would be?

Didn't take me that long it took them that long to make this patch go live.

No, but I'd feel better about the subscription fee if they'd actually invest some of the profits into hiring more staff. If they keep going at the rate they have been with HW, the game's gonna fall apart

I have to agree, I love them game. I think there's so much content in the game itself, I never really get that bored. Everyone is just complaining, as always, because they're not getting everything exactly the way they want it. They seem to forget that even though you're paying for the service, ITS NOT YOUR GAME TO DEVELOPE. Not everything is going to happen in every patch the way you want it. People need to get over it. In the end the game isn't stagnant in my opinion.

Im pretty happy over all. If I have complaints there are three.

1. Alex had poorly balanced difficulties that left most people unsatisfied with it as content.

2. The 3.1 patch came around 1.5-2 months too late and the launch content just couldn't hold up for that long.

3. The story added in 3.1 was very good but felt rather short.

Apart from that I've been pretty happy. Diadem wasn't exactly what I was hoping for but then again I do want them to try new things even if they don't pan out. I think the Gold Saucer stuff is fun just that the rewards feel lacking and too grindy. I think the last step of the Anima weapon is extreme though admittedly I haven't done it yet and I do like that they allow for so many different options for how to get what you want for it.

Over all I'm still pretty happy. I don't think any form of developed entertainment like this should be free in general. People earn their livings making these things and if the game isn't good enough it should be shelved, not given out freely. If its not good enough to be worth paying for then why play it at all and if it is good enough to be worth playing why be cheap and not be willing to pay the people who put in the hard work? Its not like its doing anyone a favour playing their work for free.

Given the amount of content we're getting each patch since 3.0 I do think it should be cheaper. The game has seen a population nosedive since 3.0 due to how little there is in the game to keep people wanting to play. The new relic and the shallow grind behind it all only highlights just how little of our sub is actually going towards development.

Yoshi has said a few times now that their team is too small to do certain things and that is a HUGE red flag that they are being vastly under-funded by the execs at SE. Very little of our subscription is actually going back into the game right now and it stinks.
