Beast Tribe Companions

This is kind of what I meant. I don't imagine Thancred or Lucia running to my side at the blow of my whistle, seeing as they probably have their own business to take care of. Beastmen are the same in my mind. A chocobo on the other hand is a companion in the same sense as a dog is. It's an animal so it doesn't have anything else to do other than helping its human.

You mean like how our retainers are at our beck and call at any time of the day, ready to go out with our throw-away gear and put their lives on the line to bring back something that we'll use for our profit, despite the fact that the venture quest established that retainers are very much real people.

I was actually considering a thread like this on Beastmen companions, but I didn't want people telling me it would be a stupid idea...lol I already wanted this and was meaning to make a thread about it, I just didn't want people hating the idea.

I don't see why people would see this as a stupid idea lol , a lot of people seem to be in support of it so far, hopefully SE will consider adding Beastmen companions someday but I have a feeling that they wont add them in a very long time or they wont even make Beastmen companions.

I think that's a good idea. That or be able to summon the mount from that beast tribe as a companion. I wouldn't mind running around with a goobbue companion. >_>

I support this idea, but unfortunately there's more pressing concerns to address like having Fenrir fly.

I like this idea quite a bit. It'd be cool to have more of a variety of companions to chose from (not that I'll ever get tired of calling on my chocobo ).
