On another note, for my fellow keyboard users, rejoice in the fact that it will be only nine days until we can move the camera with our right thumbs!!![/QUOTE]
How many thumbs do you have on your right hand? I only have 1 and 4 normal fingers ^^ Just messing with you ^^
Good for you keyboarders, im a controller pad myself, and a snapon keyboard on my xbox360 controller^^

So happy to read this letter! Sept. 30 can't come fast enough.
Awesome!! Finally I can carry around ALL my gear!!
These kind of posts are negativity just looking for an outlet. If you look at the list of things that will be done, it is significantly longer than the few that won't make it. The "bold" Summer 2011 is not a commitment. It is Yoshi trying to give us information about what they are doing and when. These kind of negative posts will only cause Yoshi and others to stop giving us anything because as soon as they try to give us insight as to what they are doing and when, we will convert it to a deadline and a solidified list of requirements.http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/11012
Just from this list:
Implementation of simplified opening tutorials for the three city-states - Not that I care, but No.
Implementation of job quests - Nope
Implementation of a window for managing achievements - Nope
Implementation of command center UI for the Grand Companies - Nope
Implementation of Materia crafting system - Obviously not if the date really delayed is past September 30th (hint, it will be)
Ongoing improvements to market area stability - LOL
Implementation of Ifrit battle quest - See Materia
Additionally, Yoshi is suggesting they might have problems with the Sept. 30th date. They are working hard on trying to get a lot done and they may slip it and he is letting us know. What is there to be upset about? Should they work harder? Should they stop trying to give us vague estimates at all? Perhaps they should just keep us in the dark and we would not be upset about these kinds of things.
I say cheers to the team for working hard and what they are about to bring us. I would like it to be today, but if it slips a couple weeks past Summer 2011, then I am still pleased and still am grateful for getting the detailed task list and estimate from the team!
NOTE: Look at the "like" counts for the posts of this thread. I think this is a good indicator of "reasonability" of the posts.
