I didn't even know this place existed til last night. There's a quest in the pillars for lv56 headpiece, I remember trying to do it back at release but couldn't find where I was supposed to go. I needed a headpiece for my drk and found the quest, you have to talk to that guy to get in. Blew my mind lol

Lol. Yea, I figured they'd end up doing something more with that place after I did that quest back not long after HW came out. It seemed like an interesting place, with the potential for content. Though I wouldn't mind just getting to browse through all their books and read up on the history of Eorzea......

Honestly, first thing that came to mind when I saw the preview was the Birgenwerth College in Bloodborne.
The equip those NPCs are wearing have a very strong Bloodborne feeling to them, it's the very first thing I thought when I saw them in the Gubal library where they drop.
