This week has been a bad week for expert for me.

PS Hard
PLD in law gear and ilvl170 str gear (seriously?) he had 2k HP more than me.
Low DPS.
Dungeon goes slow but meh we live.

Final Boss, this is where I know god hates me.

Slow and wipe because people aren't killing Greys.
After wipe "Are we supposed to kill Greys?" fml
Second time just as slow and almost wipe and I screw up and my mp is gone (I'm assuming boss has mp drain move? Or I just mega derped) Half the party wipes and we struggle through the last 10% or so.

Hats off to the smn for doing a timely raise while I was going wtf at my 0 mp bar.

Diadem normal, tanker running away killing things and party getting currents do fly.
Tanker misses all currents. We offer to help, he goes on, i fly after him so i could ress him in case he dies near a current.
Tanker gets to the 4th current and starts to fight a miniboss, not sure if he got the current. i ask him, he says yes and keeps fighting, all party away and going to Dino island. I move away so we could both die and go fly to Dinos.

Tank: "You left me!"
Me: "Yes, so we could die and fly to dino island"
Tank: "i NEVER leave anyone behind!"
Me: "Is there anything you dont know? I left so we dont waste time on that lesser monster"
Tank: "YOU LEFT ME I LEAVE YOU"

*Leaves the party*

After that, another player went AFK and we got no loot from star ranked. Another 30 minutes wasted till can join again and hope for a decent party.

In PS Hard the other day I had a DRK who had less HP than me on my BLM. He had on a lvl 58 chestpiece. :| We finished without much problem (some aggro issues and the healer worked their butt off to keep him alive) but I'm just confused at the lvl 58 chestpiece when he had Law weapon and some Eso accessories.

Have you ever been in a 24 man raid where all three (or six) tanks just shuffle their feet and look at each other and don't pull?

There's usually no reason for it other than you've landed in with passive tanks or maybe just tanks that would rather OT.

Had this my FIRST time in Void Ark. The other two tanks had been there before(interesting note the other two tanks are DRK-A and WAR-B with me PLD-C). Each GROUP we ended up waiting 30s-2min after everyone was gathered together, TRASH and bosses both. We get to the giant bile/puking boss and wipe, partly because my new PLD self wasn't told that "dodge the puke" ment "its the giant f-ing cone AoE in front of the boss that sits as an AoE for 10s" and that I was MTing. Second round at the boss we sit there about 3mins after everyone gathers and buffs. I'm sitting there in Sword Oath, DRK in Grit, and WAR in Deliverance/Defiance/whatever their OT stance is. Cue a bit of verbal screwing around with A and B alliances, and I say the only thing I did that round in Alliance Chat: "Never met a WAR so scared to MT". Cue another 2min wait, and I say screw it and MT again... and watch as C scatters from the entrance area and the boss turns around and drops his puke all over A & B because they didn't move.

Second run of Void Ark, once more I end up MT for the entire raid. Get to the plant bosses. Only issue I had on this the first run was not realizing there was a super-stomp that I had to hide behind the other boss for. I tank the moving boss next to the standing one. Anyways, on second run, FC healer keeps lagging and getting ate, random healer just slacking or something? Not sure what. FC Healer gets ate, PUG Healer doesn't heal me, I die. Other tank pulls boss away, drags him to the outside of the arena... and damage buffs skyrocket. Wipe. The other tank then proceeds to complain about me tanking the mobile boss beside the other. Me & the 4 others in my FC group lol at it in FC chat. I end up tanking again, do the exact same thing, but this time don't die. Me:"You were saying?" No response.

Today, in DD: new MNK. DRK looks at my barely enough lvl AST going "I'll do big pulls". I usualy WHM everything in df so I figure I'll deal somehow. 1st massive pull to the 1st room one of the dps dies on the way before we even get there. I somehow heal through it. I'm still thinking this is okay, fast run I guess? Wrong. Boss time: tank forgets where the dust patch is, running around. Cue wipe. I make sure I run ahead of him the 2nd time around, thinking okay, it happens. He keeps pulling and I notice he's getting harder to keep alive- with good reason. He stands in EVERYTHING. He later suddenly mid fight has battery issues (?) so I try to write that off. But after 45 painful min the SMN and I clear the last room alone. I remind the DRK he needs grit for the last boss. He eats so much damage I'm praying for an mp card or we're wiping. I get it. DRK drops as soon as boss is dead, no words.

I honestly think something happened there irl but Holly hell that was frustrating to heal.

For the second boss, the trunk gains a stack of damage up every time an add or an alliance member gets eaten. If people were lagging and getting nommed, that's probably why outgoing damage got so bad.

I am actually curious now if there is a downside to tanking the dog next to the trunk instead of far away. I've only ever seen Sawtooth tanked at the edge, I suppose to make more room to dodge poop?

Battery issues are a real thing... my controller lets me know when it's down but to be honest I'm lazy like anyone else and will sometimes let it run till my controller just shuts off in a fit of rage (don't do this)

Your first point would explain the damage buff skyrocketing.

As for the second, no one said anything when I was there about tanking it at the edge instead of the middle, and I just figured tank it on the opposite side of the giant plant as everyone else(or attempt to position it there) so mage AoEs (and my Circle of Scorn) would hit both bosses. Not exactly my fault for people that can't dodge an AoE that pops up randomly. Also doing it like this gives me plenty of time to hide and self-buff while the moving boss charges the massive stomp.

Just saying, you need i140 to get into the 60 dungeons. That drop i160 gear. You were a victim of the kind of people I cannot stand in this game: Those that assume EVERYONE(and to a larger extent, LEVEL CAPPED) is ilevel capped, or SUPPOSED to be capped. This gonna piss a lot of people off but:
