We had this in 1.0! Was very useful. Nowadays, I buy 99x at the lowest price, use the quantities I need, then relist at a few gil higher to cover the tax that'll be taken off.

I've always advocated this in the form of player-created levequests (maybe it'd be nice if they were issued at the Free Company house). Instead we got to put a star on the MB listing. Great...

Still 3% in Ishgard last time I checked (tho idk if it differs between servers?). Started off HW at 0% there, so I immediately moved all my retainers...

Saw "shear stupidity" and was hoping for a thread about mentally challenged sheep, karakuls, or maybe snurbles, preferably with silly pictures.

    ...disappointed.

I'll never understand why people care what other people sell an item at. No ones forcing you to buy their items if it bothers you just buy and resell it the people get upset because it destroys the market value they're technically is no market value person decides to sell an item at X price so others follow suit they lower it others follow suit it's just an up-and-down process.

What I dont understand, are items listed at 999,999,9999... WHY? And it's usually for stuff like oak lumber, or silver rings of crafting. Who would ever, in a million years even buy low level stuff for that much. Why are these people wasting their time listing items for this? Can someone clue me in, b/c I see it A LOT.

Simple You put something on the market board is an extra storage you put it at that price so it doesn't get bought that way it's ready for you when you need it later.

It's easy to complain when you want to sell something high but it's currently low.
It's even easier to stay quiet and smile when you need to buy that low priced item.

That and simple supply vs demand.

There. Did I just solve the forums? No? Then I shall show myself out. Good day!

Dang, probably me... (on adamantoise) I sell stuffs like those without checking prices, I was cleaning my inventory. I just list them about 15 - 500 gil range each, hq and non hq.

OHHHHHHHH! I see, thanks for clearing that up. I really thought there were some not-so-bright players in this game.

Lower prices are good for the consumer... not sure what the issue is with undercutting. As I consume more than I sell I love it!

I've been majorly hurting for inventory space for some time now. If something doesn't sell rather quickly, I slash the prices.

Why be upset at what other people are selling for? As people have said, buy to relist or wait for other to buy out the cheap mats. Waiting an extra day to make 350 gil on a skin won't kill you.
