The bottleneck for crafting 2-Star stuff has been the mats purchased with Red Crafter Scrip + Favor node tokens (ooids etc) -- Purified Coke, Treant Sap, and the like. The supply of those mats will be increased after 3.1, therefore more 2-Star crafting will happen. Final 2-Star crafts (armors, etc, as opposed to intermediate mats like Adamantite Ingots) use the Aethersands. Therefore, demand for Aethersands will increase.
