O yeah very helpfull in that time in that dungeon/fight where u use it once, let's go outside of there what do we got ? And even inside those situation has little impact on. The fight that there's nothing you are missing from not bringing a parading that a warrior and a darknight cannot do

First: If you wanna be insultive... dont assume that IQ is based on age, pleased...

Second: Why are you just focussed on Alex Savage? Regarding the abilities you mentioned: Shield Bash is WONDERFUL! I love it that I'm able to stun at anytime - and there is quite enough stuff that can be stunned. Its useful enough, thank you, I dont want it removed.
Temperd Will: I've found this quite useful in different contents - Levi EX, Titan EX, Shiva EX, Copperbell HM... so they've already found ways to make this more useful...
Shield Swipe is a nice ability - low TP-cost but decent potency. If you know how to handle Pacem its even a second stun.

Cover... well... its a paladin after all - and while I agree thats not used on a daily basis I manage to weave it into my rotations now and then...

I agree, we do need more TP and dps-output could be better... but all those abilities are fine as they are.

Making DPS-checks was never a good idea from beginning and when they are now adjusting content to fix that you complain about DPS from a tank?
If the current mechanics stay the same i would agree with you, but from the informations we are getting they will change the mechanics and so the pld class may can play a much better role in "protecting" and not beeing a damage dealer...

Honestly, they lack the capability to make the mount roulette work while you have a chocobo out, do you really think they have the capability to balance a class properly?

They just recently learned how to allow you to port while on a chocobo.

Look at the retainer system, of managing / storing items, its a fucking joke.

The list goes on, lots show they don't have any inclination of how to manage this game.

I'm wondering if they don't mean they aren't adjusting potency to skills, but maybe in the process of fixing tp issues and adjusting other skills, it might make PLD less clunky and easier to do more dps (i.e. taking certain things off gcd or not interrupting a combo would result in more dps).

Tank DPS will be adjusted in 3.2. PLD may be better after the tweaks in 3.1 I don't see such a huge problem. Let's wait the changes first.

First: if you reply to me with a childish comment then that's what I'll assume you are, can't expect me to respect someone who was making fun of me. The comment "IQ of a twelve years old" Ithe was just implying that you are being childish don't need to be too bright to figure that out. If you give a bad reply you got another in return that's how it goes.

Second: yes shield bash gets some love in raid but honestly I'd rather it be a oGCD that can be used like WAR or DRK but I know it serves its purpose just that it doesn't get much outside of raid, SHIELD SWIPE it's a dps lost period. Tempered will is irrelevant there's no different whether you use it or not, I could honestly use some secondary function like make cast not interrupt. And in any case all this abilities are all situational, these aren't abilities you will pick a PLD over a DRK or WAR over any fight.
