About the skimpy outfit-topic...the problem I have with it is that most people just assume you are male in rl and run around half-naked to either #1 stare at a catgirl butt all day or #2 try to get other players to give you money/items/help for free by acting slutty and looking sexualized/visually pleasing to make them lose their minds and give stuff to pretty much a stranger.
I'm absolutely NOT implying that either one is true, or that all players who like to make their catgirl wear next to nothing have such intentions, but with everything that is associated with catgirls in general already (even in other media, look at Catwoman, catgirls in anime, etc.), I don't think it helps our case to reinforce that stereotype.
Which is sad

that's why i generally prevent all skimpy armor
you cant change the stereotype, it is deep in ppl mind
just like school girl outfit, i can say no one in my countries wear those extremely butt showing short school shirt
i wont, my friend wont, and i never see a single girl will
but public media create those stereotype which now is deep in everysingle mind
we cant really do anything about that
