You know what hurts? Final Fantasy XI is getting new Relic Weapons in its last update... The whole event could basically be Final Fantasy XI characters, wielding their new Relics, smugly rubbing it in that Final Fantasy XIV sucks at Relic Weapons...
Hope they can fit Distant Worlds in at some point (and Memoro de la Stono), it would be very fitting, and also mean that I can (hopefully) get Distant World in the Jukebox they've now promised for 3.2...
I think the difference in stats, and combat speed, would pretty much result in XIV destroying XI... Like, it wouldn't even be a fair fight... We should challenge them at Triple Triad instead, only to have them stubbornly insist on Tetra Master (that was on PlayOnline right?) instead.

Depends... a lvl 99 against a lvl 60 is a pretty steep difference. And what if being in Vana'diel meant XIV players had to conform to how XI functions? It'd be a lot more even then... plus gear macro'ing is an advantage (albeit an annoying one) that XI players have too. Actually, I'd be more interested to see how a XI player transitioning to how a XIV system works would be like... with that speed, weapon skillchains would be pretty crazy....

we stand no chance....they have true bards that will buff them , ninjas that can avoid getting hit non-stop, paladins that can heal , rdm that will slow , paralyze , blind , and snare.....add blms that can cast ancient spellls......whm that have Cure VI already, and reraise II .....and u dont want to face a BST/SMN/PUP there....nor sam , rng , blu




But they also have longer cool downs for their Job Abilities, Magic and they need to build up TP to use weaponskills. Their HP is also capped at around 2000-3000 :I
