Yeah, short hair again. Males have ONE long style with an ugly headband, and two medium-longish styles, all of which are about a year old. That stubby ponytail is cute, but it's not really 'long'. Long would be like the ponytail females got at Heavensward's opening (which I'd love to use), for which the male equivalent was the short, spiky ponytail.

I can't say whether you're in the minority, but I hate all of these styles (and not just because they're short), and obviously some others agree with me.

The first one would be okay if it wasn't bald on top...And in fact, I think Au Ra males have a style very like that second? It's one of several I really wish would be unlocked for other races - Au Ra males actually have some nice long styles the rest of us don't.

The female contest winner is so awful. I'd like to be able to wear the male one on my female char. But oh well. We can't have everything we want. At least for once we get more than 1 new hairstyle.

I had the exact opposite reaction to the new hairstyles. I thought "Finally, some decent short hairstyles!". A brief google search found this picture for Elezen men.



None of those would be considered short hair, at least where I live. More hairstyles have been added since this picture put together, but (at least offhand) I can only think of one that I would consider short if I were wearing it in real life. I feel like most hairstyles available are shaggy, at best. I appreciate seeing a few more trim options.
