If that's true I'll leave for a F2P or B2P MMO. At least it would be the same, but without the sub. It could be even better in some cases *Looks at the retainers' rent*
I really REALLY hope that that's not the case.
the day i need to pentameld tome/raiding gear is the day i quit ...lol , btw potions food and repairs i have enough gil sinks D:

I'm excited to see search options on crafting and gathering logs, I've been wanting that for a long time, but....
MORE FEMALE ONLY OPTIONS. Ugh! I'm getting really sick and tired of this, and what are the odds that they will release a unisex 'male' glamor? High.

So many things in this live letter that simply outright infuriate me, even just reading through the transcript thread........ like. WTH. All "meh" and "/angry", basically. Idek anymore.......... :/ I guess it's underlining things people I know have quit for.

Mudra. Changes. MUDRA. CHANGES.

I'm happy that 1.0 gathering is coming back as Gold Saucer mini games ^^
Now everyone can try out how we gathered during 1.0
WorldI will never understand this "It could be worst" attitude. It's already worst than it should be: All items being available via in-game actions as well as available on the Mog $tation as a shortcut. What would be so bad about that? You'd be able to throw your money at it if you're lazy, or you could earn it in the game. Why are the glamor options being kept exclusive to the Mog $tation when we, paying a sub, should expect to be able to obtain the items?
This isn't SWTOR.

Warcraft?

So I dunno, they sell helmets and they are still sub based, so if you wanna make an accurate example you may wanna use WoW and not SWTOR that nickle and dimes everywhere else in their game. On top of that man 25 dollar world transfer compared to 18 for XIV, 10 dollar for fantasia compared to 15 for an "APPEARANCE" change and 25 to change your race.
So ya honestly SE is so generous in the prices they charge for their services compared to an MMO that's been out for years and charges the prices they do which is honestly ridiculous compared to XIV. That's just my two cents though, comparing to SWTOR isn't honestly the best example you could use cause there is another MMO that fits the example of XIV better and it's WoW.
Honestly, in this day and age and in terms of a sub game, who would argue for anything to be in the Cash Shop? I mean since the cash shop was announced, I heard people say "As long as non-powerful items are sold then it's ok". Then it was "As long as non-powerful items and just dyes, it's ok".
Now, anyone can argue that dyes, minions, outfits, fantasias, and mounts are their goals and the shop is infringing on their fun. As this is subjective, they would be right, but man, what could be sold there that wouldn't piss people off?
I see the continue to keep pushing to see how far they can take the cash shop. After they themselves said they wanted to keep NPC's as "Unique" characters anyone with a wallet can have key characters outfit. Tataru doesn't care enough about you to make it ingame.
