99% repair NPC [Thanks for the offer...]

I can never get anyone to repair my gear anyway and am usually forced to use NPC ,i don't have time to waste hours seeking a repair. I welcome anything that makes it easier or cheaper to get my gear fixed.

well the official post states 99%, soooo as much as I like Reinhearts efforts and aid in translating for us, Rein's data is "obsolete". It is now official released in english at 99%.

edit: Correct, but obsolete because of official release. had to clarify I think.

We can still hope that they made spelling mistake...

I think players should rank up crafting classes because they want to make things, not because they want to be able to repair their gear.

I was ranking up crafting for this reason. I couldn't grind for as long as I wanted to in certain gear because when the gear got damaged to say 30 or 40%, the stat decrease forced me to stop return to town and get a repair from a fellow player because an NPC would only repair to 75% which means I would need another repair even sooner.

However, I have no real intention of being a serious crafter and contributing items to the game. Now with the new system, I won't be forced into leveling a class I have no real intention of using. Unless I want to sell something, I'll just go the the NPC when my gear hits all the way to 0% with no real consequences.

99% repair rate and reduced prices just means we get to actually enjoy the game more often. I HATE HATE HATE sitting around town shouting or waiting for someone to repair my gear just so i can get back to playing the game. And I don't like paying 50K+ to get my gear repaired from NPC.

Crafters will still be included when trying to sell 2nd hand items, Crafters will still be included if you try and find someone willing to repair @cost or for same level dark matter.

It's a good change and I welcome it.

Wow, I have never sen a crowd so FOR pigeon holing this game. So what if you have to put a little effort into getting repairs? If everyone is so against the crafters and the time we invest in our craft then do away with gil rewards from leves and other quest, as well have no more items drop from mobs. Why should DoW/M be allowed to make money from both quest and from selling crystals and mats droped by mobs.......I mean thats almost as stupid as letting crafters earn XP and gil from BOTH crafting and repairs. So what if thats a core concept of the DoH, I think we should change that core concepts to accomadate all the crying DoW/M on this thread...

I think it's more of the fact these "whining DoM/DoW" are either very short on time or have looked for a DoH to repair their things but none are willing to help out? Maybe I am wrong but some players don't have the want to or should have the need to, to waste 2+ hours looking for a repair.

Just offer high amounts of money and shout them. I believe someone will be really glad to repair your items if those are worthy the repair =)

lol then you are lucky, I have only been able to get ls mates to fully repair my things, have never had a random DoH give a helping hand and repair my gear when I have it up for "seeking repairs"

Yeah I don't have any issues with getting repairs. I'd just hate having to do it so often. And I hated having to waste time and gil on repairing my gear when I should be spending gil on buying new gear because I'm ranking up! And what's with this

So what if thats a core concept of the DoH

? What? DoH core concept is making things, enhancing things, HQ'ing like a boss. I don't know a DoH that thinks that repairing things is a core concept of their craft.
