I'm sorry but if you're not participating then you sure aren't getting healed by me for sure.

also like to point out how hypocritical this statement here is. but the thing is, they WERE participating according to your account of how things went. they just were a bit clueless about the adds in the moment. only you chose to stop being a participant
a post should of been made about how poorly you conducted yourself in the instance, and not you complaining. but thats just my opinion

Like I said, I was tired and some of us get cranky when tired. And some of us shouldn't be on DF when tired+cranky but it happened.

Now we can all laugh how silly I was to make that decision.

I think I just had the worst Dzemael Darkhold experience as a healer.

This tank man... this tank...

Starting off, he pulls multiple packs. Okay, considering the Crystal Veil reduces all damage, large pulls are welcome.

Then after the 1st boss, nothing changes. Oh boy, 3-4 pulls at the cliff area right after the 1st boss. He gets hit for a crap ton of damage and still doesn't pop a single cooldown.

Yeap, that's right, no Rampart, no Sentinel, no Awareness, no Convalescence, NOTHING.

The guy was a level 54 PLD.

The worst part is, the party was not suited for AoE mass pulls. The party consisted of me, an AST, a MNK, a MCH and the tank, a PLD.

The MCH tries to AoE as much as she can before bottoming out on TP while the mobs are sitting comfortably at 70-ish% health.

The MNK has no choice but to kill stuff slowly single target because MNK AoE at that level is as good as none.

Then there's me, the AST spamming everything possible in my arsenal to keep the damned tank alive.

Luminiferous Aether to hopefully not grab aggro from tank while trying to keep his arse alive, Lightspeed + Aspected Benefic and Helios to try and get as much regen as possible on the tank (He was losing health if I was spamming only Benefic II) while also using Essential Dignity when he got a Physical Vulnerability Up Debuff and I had to cleanse it with Exalted Detriment.

During this entire sh*tfest of trying to keep him alive, ZERO Cooldowns were used on his end. NONE

Eventually, I grab aggro because he bottoms out on MP and I die from a single hit from at least 8 mobs.

I would've just left right there but the DPS were actually trying so I couldn't be an ass and just abandon them. Worst part is, the tank actually had the gall to bark orders to the DPS asking them when to LB.

After a painstaking 40 minutes, the entire dungeon finally ends and I get 2 commends from the DPS.

Yesterday my bf and I went to cutters cry for me leveling mch and he went in as pld. We got a group and then: 1 the healer didn't even put protect, first mobs he puts 1 regen on the tank which is all and then after we all die cose he wasn't healing at all, he just leaves.... and also the other dps left. then we got another dps, and had to ask one of our friends healers to come, because no healer was coming to cutters.

I don't understand this kind of attitude... where is the point of coming in and starting the dungeon then not doing your job?

dismissing you fairy if it was selene would of had a detrimental effect on any caster dps who may have been dpsing adds. trying to make a point or not you are doing more harm than good

If you're relying on Selene to get you past Ramuh HM adds, your group has far, far worse problems.

Also, for all you know, that extra 3% skillspeed might have been what the inattentive melees needed to push Ramuh to enrage.

Once did a run of Darkhold...and the tank pulled everything in the cliff part before the first boss....which would be ok with our party...EXCEPT! He then proceeded to pull it all back into the small narrow hall ....all the attacks lined on top of each other in different spots and there was no dodging room, at all.

Running Halatali last night on my WHM with a DRK, BLM, and a MNK. I'm not even exaggerating when I say the DRK only spammed Unleash... against just about everything, single target or groups. I think I saw him throw an Unmend maybe twice the whole dungeon and I'm not sure how often he used his enmity combo, but I could pull hate as a healer without even throwing a heal...

Moving on, the BLM only seemed to know Fire II and Blizzard II because that's all he'd cast regardless of single target and groups. Needless to say, I had to keep him healed more than the tank half the time. Then at the very end, for whatever reason, he blew a LB2 on the boss (single target) while he was invulnerable. I just... I don't know why.

In the end I gave my commendation to the MNK because he was the least ridiculous and really hadn't done anything to cause me stress. Lol

I had the most awesome tank last night in Neverreap with my EX DR.

After the first boss, out of the blue I started getting amass of lag spikes. The kind that everything stops and I can do nothing. I could barely heal him at all. This continued for this section. I even died because I wasn't paying attention to what he had pulled I got the second set of bees on me and died. I expected a wipe on the trash. I quickly returned and came back. This godsend paladin was still alive and tanking his ass off. No one but my lagging butt died. He even still had enough to pull that last set of mobs and kick their ass too.

My jaw had dropped and I was awestruck. Finding good badass tanks in df are hard to find. And when I do find them you just want to keep them out of perbadassery.
