I've made it through tons of dungeons without healers, people are just not willing to try different things while waiting, instead opting to just stand there and complain.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
There is enough terrible DPS getting carried through content because there is always two or more of them.
We don't need terrible Healers to get carried as well.
What's next? Give DRG a tank stance that makes them merge with the floor and take way less damage while generating aggro, so that they can jump in when the tanks suck?
Here's MY solution to healer wipes:
Healers either need to stop ignoring mechanics/AOEs or tanks need to learn to manage aggro better. Prevention > cures to a symptom.

I'm not saying that they should rebalance the entire game. I just thought allowing the cross class use of an already existing skill would improve the utility of an already existing kit.
I just came here to present a possible solution to a problem I have encountered many times. I found it frustrating, wasting ~35 minutes (including waiting in queue), only for it to end with nothing, all because of one person. One moment. That I was helpless to do anything about.
And why do you believe that a DD could perform better than a healer as a healer?
I met so many DDs just focusing on DPS that they didn't even realise that they got damage and died ... "Why did I die?" is quite common.
But if you get a bad healer you have different options: 1. teach the healer, 2. endure the healer, 3. kick the healer, 4. leave the party or last but not least 5. play a healer yourself.
I myself had my share of a bad healers, DDs or tanks. Every role can be be played bad![]()
They should give healers Reraise.
How about a solution for tank wipes? I think I see more wipes from newbie or scrub tanks than healers. Usually parties I have been in have to tolerate a bad tank because we risk "waiting for player" forever if we kick them.

I really can't argue with that, but I have seen so many pro heals just bait and heal if a tank goes down and can't get up in time. Those are some of my favorite saves actually. If a tank goes down and the healer can bait long enough for me to cast a Resurrection, we can sometimes pull off a pretty cool comeback. Something like that is really all I'm suggesting here.
No thanks. I don't flag as DPS in order to heal.
