Beastmen Settlements....Beastmen Strongholds.........

So we're getting strongholds in 1.19.

BUT

It seems they are going to be a remodeled part of the existing regions, Thanalan and so on.

SO

What strikes me as odd is that the three "beastmen regions", O'ghomoro, Pagl'than and...the third one.. are yet to be unveiled.

As one would guess, these three zones would be the "strongholds" for the beastmen. However, now they've been added to the existing regions instead. Which makes me draw comparisons to XI. If these are Giddeus, Palborough and Fort Ghelsba, the locked regions would be Castle Oz., Davoi and Beadeaux.

So what's the plan with these three unreleased regions? We know that Ishgard is coming, and thus far I had thought that with the Strongholds the other unreleased areas would be unlocked as well... but alas. Now the question must be asked! Are we perhaps waiting for the zone redesign? That's fine with me, but at least give us a heads-up!

Saying we are getting beastman strongholds, is very different from saying we are getting access to the beastmen's stronghold.

Not the main Amalj'aa stronghold, not the leader of the Amalj'aa, nothing changes just because they are adding these small raid areas.

My expectations certainly did. If these are the Strongholds, whats the plan for the actual regions of the beastmen? That's what I'm asking.

So does this mean they're just revamping sections of current content to add these new beastman sections?
Better that really than adding new maps - the maps do feel a little bereft of life being that they're so enormous...

I believe they are just their front armies, small outposts, Instead of their hometown. Kind of like that one area (forgot name) at Windurst that is filled with yagudo compared to Castle Oztroja.

Still, since we know the zone redesign is coming I would have preferred seeing some actual new regions in the meantime, instead of always tinkering with the existing regions (that are going to be changed regardless). I think they're already finished too.

Maybe they are planning to redesign those existing regions too, because you know its probably as bland as what we've during release lol.
