"Concentration" Mini Game to be put on Mog Station for purchase

I would prefer that the NPC used to activate the event's content was made permanent, or a rerun of the event altogether but I know that is even less likely. I was indeed just defaulting to what seems plausible. If you could suggest a better way to make the mini game acquirable to players that missed their chance before, I would appreciate that.

I think the best chance is having it return as available in next year's Rising event. That means having missed it this year is going to cost a long wait before getting it, but I am at least hoping it will be available again to players like yourself who missed it the first time around.

How likely it is to happen is debatable, since SE hasn't been very consistent about bringing stuff back. Some stuff gets offered again when the corresponding event returns. Some stuff goes to the Mog Station instead. And some doesn't come back at all. (There's speculation about why different items get different treatment, mostly regarding whether it's a year back or two, or about whether it was introduced in 1.0 or 2.0, but I don't think any of that is as relevant as just what the devs feel like at the time they're setting it up.)

I don't think there needs to be an explanation as to why I want to use in-game content. I don't want to log off to play a flash game elsewhere, I don't want to buy a deck of cards at the store, I don't want to play mario, I don't want your useless monster attack idea. I want to use my toy box in my house for the card match mini game, why? BECAUSE I WANT TO. Enough with the dim-witted suggestions already. And Umo, you're not clever and nobody laughed.

Way to be completely rude to someone who both provided a solution to you -and- was just curious as to why you absolutely needed this one specific minigame.

Such cash shop requests have no effect on the gaming progress as they have no in-game benefit. The only reason to dislike cash shop things is in the case that they circumvent actual game accomplishment through RMT and reward you with something that would otherwise only be received by skill - in effect demeaning said accomplishment. But since this is just a request to make a more or less irrelevant-to-in-game function obtainable other than a 1-time-only deal, there is nothing to get upset about.

As I said before, typically I am not one to desire more cash shop content, but this is a pretty cool and very unique in-game function, it adds a lot to a housing furnishing which has very little use as-is, I think that is reason enough to make it more accessible. I also understand the whole "you missed the event, tough noogie" opinion, as is true, event items should be somewhat exclusive - however, if any event items make it on the cash shop, it seems to make sense that such a unique function as a mini game would.

Let's look at the past event items to see if they hold up to your argument:

Kimono Sets and Bathing Suits: Glamour items. Helps the ingame economy by either purchasing Glamour Prisms from the marketboard, purchasing mats needed to synth up one, or gathering said mats yourself. Not everyone are self sufficient, so the only other way is to get the free ones as quest rewards, while you're leveling up in Heavensward.

Minions: Minions can be seen by others. People can gift the little guys as some sort of FC party game reward to bond, to show appreciation to a friend, a cute gift to a loved one on their wedding day, or for a completionist treat for yourself to show off as you're doing things inworld. No matter the reason, it's meant to be shared.... Or gloat.

Bomb Dance: Self explanatory; You get to dance differently. People are able to see you dancing.

I think that's all I can think of, right now. So now we know why it's practically a good idea to keep them there in the Cash Shop, let's look at the toy game:

The Concentration game is basically a single player game in an MMO. This feature is so unique, not many people have Private House or a Private Chamber. They would have to resort to an inn, where nobody would see them.

Yeah, you can definitely argue that it's nobody's business on what you're do on your free time, but think about it: Is this game that worth so much to you, even though you can't really share it with others by playing the minigame with them, that you're willing to fork out money for it?

The only valid reason I can think of is that you're that much of a completionist. But even then, just wait until next year. There are much more content in this game to collect.

The OP is a part of a hardcore endgame Concentration static and needs to keep up his Concentration skills or he won't be able to participate in the upcoming Eorzea Concentration tournament of champions held once every 10 years.

I spend a lot of time at my FC house and would like to use my toy box for this mini game while I LFG / wait for DF.
Does it really matter what my reason for wanting to play the game is? Other than asking for another chance at acquiring it, I am asking for nothing more than what already exists.
