    I'm tired of being ignored.

    I'm really tired of being ignored by SE on these forums. And them saying nothing it all.

    It's really frustrating to spend this much money on the game and after countless posts about many different subjects, All they are bothered about is glamours and correct spelling.

    Peoples games are in tatters. And your still taking money of everyone yet YOU DO NOT LISTEN SQUARE ENIX!

    Give us something, We bought HW, We play for the game monthly. I would atleast like to have some feedback from the Developers, instead of being told nothing.

    Lack of replies is absolutely disgusting. I've paid like £80 since the release of HW and they can't answer a post.

    It's a joke!!

    Its not so simple as a lot of people think. But yes I'm tired of seeing the reps commenting on spelling and glamour stuff. But the problem is they can't just make a response because if they do they have to keep to what they've said. So they can't say stuff like for example.

    We will get rid of all rmt activities in x amount of days. They can't say stuff like this cause if they fail to do it in this time frame its a back lash on them. The reps have to go threw the devs before they could comment on big stuff like content changes requests before they could post. Not to mention they have to translate everything.

    The JP forums probly gets more responses because they don't have to translate.

    Oh and because there's too many threads in the English forums. Like this one for instance rant threads.

    Pretty much what Derek, said Devs would respond to all our post they would lose their nerves and say something they regret because let's face it most of the feedback isn't the nicest to read.

    You aren't the only one OP. They used to be so transparent and such on here..now they say stuff only at press events and now it seems like they don't even translate the Live Letters on the forums! I dunno anymore...

    1) FFXIV has literally millions of players, and only a few community reps. It's impossible for them to respond to most posts. That doesn't mean they don't listen. The best listeners are the people who are not talking all the time.

    2) The more important an issue actually is, the less likely you are to see a post on it from a community rep. There's many reasons for this: miscommunication is worse than no communication, spoilers are bad, giving the forums advance information (most players do not read them) is not fair, and so on.

    3) Many issues cannot be responded to because even the devs don't have an answer yet. A feature may be in development but may not work out. A problem may be acknowledged but a solution may not be confirmed yet.

    ... and so on.

    Besides, how much of their time do you think your £80 is worth? Do you think the community reps can just dash off a short note about a real issue in 10 minutes? No, responses to real issues have to be written, vetted, approved by the devs in Japan, and so on. I'll bet all but the most trivial community rep responses take 4 or more person-hours to get written, approved, and posted. Do the math using the fully-burdened cost of an employee, and you'll find that your £80 isn't enough to pay for even half a response.

    And that's ignoring that you already got what you paid that £80 for: a game. Check your receipt, I'm pretty sure that forum responses to your particular complaints were not included at that price.

    Not talking about my complaints, I'm talking about every single DOTL/DOTH post thats been ignored since we purchased Heavensward.

    And also. If they don't have an answer. TELL US!!! How do we know what there doing if they feed absolutely nothing back. Why can't they post. We are working on changes, We dont know what but we will keep you informed. Thats it, Job done. Not all this point blank ignoring the people who pay for this game.

    I suspect there is such a thing as a "thread-o-meter". The more replies, the more likely a request will be accepted and implemented. To get higher in the thread-o-meter, create a thread with a high potential of trolling / baiting. For instance (I'm not inventing them - almost) :

    " We PLD 'r so gimped, need MORE MiTiGaTiNg !!"
    " The 3407 reasons WHM should be buffed !!"
    " I warn you SE, I'm gonna quit !"
    " I'm a healer ilvl 248, and I still don't get it, should I DPS or NOT ?"
    " AST cards are awesome ! ...but need a revamp !"
    " SE, I hate crafting now " (and when you look at the character, all crafts at 60, wtf ? took you so long to figure out ?)

    If you can create such threads with such level of trollness, and get 20 pages of replies, I'm certain you'll get every buff or revamp you need. All it takes is creativity (the above mentionned can be a great source of inspiration)
