Whorleater Extreme. A whole bunch of us vs Lake Dragon(Thing?). We all do great, we stay positive, until phase two...everything falls apart. Hellwaters raises, the Heavens get drowned and LOADS of us dies and then, eventually at the Phase were the Fences pulls down. Nearly everyone falls down often, chaos has been unleashed! As we survive after several trials, we fight him with INFINITE minions coming to screw our day. Nobody knows what to do, and we just do whatever we feel is right, and i literally watch and try to heal everyone as much as i can, and do whatever i can do to keep people alive. To no avail...

And let me tell you. We kept at this for more then fifteen times! And people kept going in and out as we re-tried so often! I've never suffered more. But the few who stayed kept positive! I can't remember everything, it has been a little while, sorry for no so detailed story. But EFF! I was frustrated that day.

While leveling my white mage, i decided to do Dzemael Darkhold.

When i zone in, I noticed something off about our tank. He was a gladiator, not a paladin, and he had much less health than I did. When I asked him why he didn't have his soul gem and why he was in sub level 20 gear, he said that he put on the wrong item set, and insisted we try to complete the run (However, it did not occur to him to put on his level appropriate gear). So we continued on at a snails pace, me spamming heals on him the whole while to keep him from getting two shot by every mob (even in the crystal light buff).

It was at that point that i went to see if he had put on the right gear yet (and of course, he didn't) so i suggested he do so. He started to, got half way through putting his gear on, got frustrated, then left the group.

That was the only time i've ever seen someone forget their soul gem. And i still question how he accidentally equiped a gladiator set (because once you obtain your soul gem, your set updates to the job after you save your gear set)

Have also seen quite a few cases of me out-DPSing BLMs and whatnot in AoE situations when I'm on my SCH.

BLM was my 3rd job to 60. I loved level 50 BLM 'cause it felt so fluid, but at level 60 it feels so... clunky and awkward. I did one EX Roulette on BLM and immediately went to level SMN. At least one class is getting some use out of my casting armor. >.<

Healer standing around doing no DPS healing every 3-4 seconds, often some pretends to do something by running around in circles.

This is the worst! I see this all the time in low level runs. Its like they are bored but dont want to do anything so they just run in circles waiting on people to get hurt enough.

I looked at that real hard before finding what was wrong with it. Then I laughed.

I have had a lot of bad DF runs with various things like...

Non Jobs!: Level 51 GLD, Level 60 MAR, Level 53 ARC, Level 58 ARC
People who didn't even know there was skills after 50... Level 60 BRD, when asked why they weren't using WM answered with "When do I get that? I don't see it in my spellbook."

Level 60 WAR in The Aery, pulls multiple mobs then pops Raw Intuition... without Awareness, and is constantly moving about, getting crit on all sides. THEN, has the nerve to say "Healer can't keep up, no big pulls." ... I was the healer. And yeah, gave him a piece of my mind about using a freakin' CD guaranteed to give him crits.

Level 60 WHM in The Library, healing in Cleric Stance and saying I was too hard to heal on DRK. Even though I was using CD's and self healing rotation to help out... and my health was taking about a good 8-10 seconds to hit half on any given pull. Which is more than enough time to drop CS and toss at least one big heal out >.O

And possibly my all time favourite:
Any BLM who walks into a run where I'll be tanking, sees that I'm not wearing ALL Str Accessories and makes a snap judgement of "I'm going to pull off you."
Oh yeah? Love to see you try. Even with them constantly switching targets on PURPOSE to try and pull off me, I am able to leave at the end with a happy face and the statement "Keep trying, try hard. Keep trying..."

Well for example in Sastasha, you have to pick whether you will use Cleric or Protect, if you are AST or SCH.
You also have to change your hotbars, because you lack upgraded skills, and have to use some you never use (like Ruin).
I also usually use my DoTs in a Macro, so I don't have them readily accessible, and when I am synced to a level before getting Bio II, then my macro does not work.
Low level dungeons are annoying as hell to DPS in as a healer...

While I WILL do my absolute best to DPS as a healer when I have downtime, there are days where I am too tired to stance-dance, or my stance-dance button doesn't work, or when I just don't want to switch my cross-class skills to be able to use Cleric...
Healer DPS is a bonus, not a requirement, and you should be happy about healers that DPS, not frustrated with those that don't.

A suggestion I'd like to make, just to help out. If you set up say
/ac "Ruin III"
/ac Ruin

It will attempt to use Ruin III, if it can't find it (or level synced) will cast Ruin in place, same with other skills, saves the hassle of tossing skills to and from the hotbar.

I actually had a really good first run of the library. I didn't say anything, but immediately the tank was like I'll explain all the fights its ez. Well he did just that and even on the last boss he marked himself and me and told the other 2 who to follow to stand on those circles, it went incredibly smooth. That don't happen to often, but man I love it when it does
