I've been on enough RO private servers with custom wings to know how obnoxious these can be.

Reminds me of high rate private servers of Ragnarok Online. (i.e. lvl 9999999, glitter everywhere, giant exagerated ugly gear, etc...)

Well its sad that you guys experienced that, because I played Ragnarok as well, and not on a private server, since they are illegal. (they were at the time, not sure now)

So I didn't encounter anything in which the admins could insert there to their whims.

But I miss the old Ragnarok (Lords of Vermillion!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kX-FJk7SKP8

And yes, I would still be happy for esthetics if it was succubus wings, demon wings (my fav) that would fit on your back from shoulder to shoulder, so it wouldn't affect anything, unless the DEVs would state otherwise.

Oh they're probably still illegal but honestly the leveling curve in RO is just so...slow...ugh anyway

I still don't know. "Wings" aren't really a FF thing (unless you are evil or a bird person, seems like)... I'm okay with ornamental wings (those silly things the SMN AF2 have for instance) or mounts. Our characters don't need the innate ability to fly.

Yup, you are right about innate ability.

I wanted to have wings for esthetics first and if it can be in mount slots, to fly, for those who like that. Those that don't can use all the remaining flying mounts to their tastes ^^
