WHM gear is BUTT UGLY

The constant robes is pretty boring. WHM set is the most disappointing one honestly.
I'd like to see some skin in at least one set. I am not asking for '' ermaghurd everybody outrage '' armor aka '' skimpy ''. Altho I wouldn't be against it, whatever the concept artists wants. And really, most armor in this game is very conservative to begin with. There's very few actually revealing ones.
But what I am talking about is just a little bit of legs, and chest ( for men too perhaps. ). To break out of the '' nun in robes '' thing. It's okay if you want to feel like a nun, but it would be cool if others got something cool every now and again too :P.
It would open up for some more interesting designs with more pieces layered on top of each other too, instead of just one big piece of cloth wrapped around yourself with a hood.
Just let a little bit of skin breathe.

Just my opinion. There's only so much that you can do with a robe. The interesting stuff is really the ornaments.

It's one of my favorites so far! I love the silhouette.

WHM have always been a long robe class. The only game that changed it a bit was FFXI, from wich FFXIV wants to distance itself.

OK so I main a whm. I love my class but we have the ugliest gear. Our Esoteric gear makes us look like nuns. We have a staff that is wooden and has boobs on it.

I look at the items that BLM or AST or SCH can get and I'm so jealous. Even our PVP gear is ugly. We cannot partake in the gear that makes you look bigger. I saw the squirrel tail and I thought ''Oh something kinda somewhat cute for roleplay''...not available to us. Figures.

Whoever makes the WHM armor, why do you hate us so much? Also, why do we ONLY have robes? The only decent set that I want to glam with is the casino one and I'm waiting to have enough MPG to get the full set.

Head gear: We're not nuns.
Robes: All white, plain with another color at times.
Weapon: Always a staff that's ugly...

No difference between the sexes at all.

Please tell me this is a joke. WHM is the nicest gear in game! have you not seen the SCH gear?

I don't like the head gear we get with esoterics, but I glamour my glasses on head gear anyway so that doesn't matter to me much . The body of the WHM gear is pretty good though, it can be used with the Thavainarian Tights and Shoes and look good .
Just an example of a nice WHM esoteric glamour if you're stuck for ideas ^^.

While looks/aesthetics are obviously all a matter of opinion in the end...that robe fits my male Au Ra the same as it fits your female, breasts and all, and that is not ok. XD

I don't mind the robe and when I get the hood I will have to glamour over it for sure. It is pretty terrible looking.

You're suppose to be a priest or druid like person so what else did you expect? I think most DOM gear is ugly, healer gear is always either purple, pink or white colored. I always thought the best looking gear was for summoners. Look at that top hat, it makes me look taller!! Too bad i can't glamour it to my AST

Esos WHM gear looks a lot better than the old Daystar stuff imo, AST Eso robe is the absolute best IMO, can't wait to hit 60 for mine,

I glamoured my WHM Eso body with the 150 Chivalric healing robe, some bunny ears for the head gear, some random short skirt thing for the legs and Aurum Regis Sollerets of healing for the feet.

To OP: couldn't agree more- I actually shifted to PLD for this reason. I prefer a detailed and well thought out outfit even if it means playing a sub par class. Hopefully 3.1 makes me regret my decision a bit less.
