If they would release more information at a time, or a reason "why" with their releases, this wouldn't be an issue.

Because they release small amounts, with no explanation, the forums go crazy with assumptions when all SE has to do is explain "why" with their posts...

I think they try to spread out the info as long as possible, also they probably like it when we speculate. We like to think that the Devs thought of everything before they implement something, but one of us posters may say something they haven't thought of, so they probably make constant changes before releasing the patch.

I think they give the bursts of info a bit at a time regarding a patch because it's info on what part of that patch they've just either 1: finished working on or 2: about to work on.

If it's 1, then it says "We've managed to do this for this patch, so anything more regarding this particular part of the game will be implimented into the next patch"

If it's 2, then it says "We're going to do this and sneakily keep an eye on the forums to see if there's anything extra we can throw in that people are demanding, without telling them, so when the patch comes out they'll be pleasantly surprised."

That's how I'd do it anyways.
