How the temp and stuff? i hope you have a cooling system for it laptop can get hot lol what am i saying the game make about any PC go up in temp not every video card but some.

that the same setting i'm playing i can play higher but no reason to go above Standard for Gen Draw Quality,Background Draw i can't tell a dam diff at least without a pic of someone showing then i see it so no need if i can't really tell

I haven't downloaded a program yet to monitor it but, the outside of the computer doesn't get hot
and the heat only really starts kicking out after about an hour and a half.
But like you said, any computer screams playing this game lol.

You should download something like Speccy or any program that can monitor every temp. Try and make sure you stay at good temp unlike a desktop which can take more temp a laptop could be dmg faster with long hours of FFXIV without good cooling.
