everything is repetitive and seems like a chore. I'm sure some will disagree with me, but unless you're in the top 10% of hardcore players/groups, you all feel the same way I do:

It's a chore.

1. Log on
2. Do expert daily to get the 75 esoterics (cap esoterics for the week)
3. Do daily GC turn-ins for crafting
4. Gather mats for step 3
5. Help people with instances
6. Log off

This game seriously needs some changes and fun things to do. We're all insane for logging in and doing the same thing over and over again everyday. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results.

Something needs to be done to make the world more lively too. There are more empty zones than non empty ones.

Just from that piece of information about what he leveled alone, I can tell you he couldn't raise those comfortably if he tried. His inventory is totally shot, so those additional classes might as well not even exist where he is concerned.

Tenku, even as a raider, there's not enough *end game* content worthwile to do. You are not alone on this sentiment.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but it's losing it's appeal and that's not a false statement. Every patch/update is the same thing: new tomestones to cap, new CT, new something instanced.

How about add a 100 floor open dungeon? (Sword Art Online style)

Yes, an open dungeon that's 100 floors and you can bump into anybody on the server while trying to get to the top.

This game is suppose to be an MMO, but instead falls into the trap of turning everything into instances so you feel like you're not even part of the fantasy world.

I'm very far from being in the top 10% of players/ hardcore/raider type; I'd personally think they'd be the ones more likely to agree with you that there's little to do but gear-up. I don't log in if I don't feel like playing, I don't run ESO dungeons if I don't feel like running them, I do fun things with friends (which is mainly why I play at all) or potter around on my gatherers - I find all the gathering jobs very relaxing for some reason - and craft mats to sell. May not sound particularly exciting, but it's what I enjoy, so the game still gives me a great deal of pleasure. Everything stops being fun if you turn it into work instead of entertainment.

I didn't log in all weekend, for example, popped on tonight for a couple of hours. Talked to folks in my LS which was as hilarious as always. Sorted out my retainers, crafted some archaeonis leather (managed to HQ one!), ran Fractal with a tank friend, messed about in the Golden Saucer for a bit, finished off with a few FATES in Churning Mists. Nothing particularly thrilling but still a pleasant evening spent in convivial company.

Interesting to see, that even non-hardcore players are feeling the same way. I've been checking some profiles, and damn, I'm under the impression that a lot of people defending these faults barely do anything in the game or attempt anything at all, outside of leveling everything to 60 and calling it a day.
