If this is about being banned from the forums and not being able to participate, then well... don't do things that allow you to get banned? If a thread or threads can upset a person that much, it maybe time to take a step back from the forums for a while.

I suppose SE can start using the Lodestone site itself a bit more when it comes to contests like this? Only other option is sending every account a e-mail so they can vote that way..

How exactly did SE fail to include the entire playerbase? The notice for the voting was on the launcher that everyone has to use to access the game and it linked directly to the relevant posts. If someone overlooked them or otherwise refused to visit the forums long enough to vote for whatever asinine reason they might have, that's their problem and not SE's.

A contest whereby the people playing get to show the devs what they like by hitting the like button? Hrm. I wonder how SE might have thought that'd be a good idea? I can't imagine how.

Believe it or not but that Like button shows what people like. Is it so hard to understand that it could be used to to let us vote on things that we may like.
I wouldn't mind seeing one for new glamour gear. If SE are doing the things that the players themselves are saying they want, you can hardly claim SE isn't listening to its playerbase.

So i ask you, how exactly is the contest irrelevant to anything?
