Need more ways to get gil

Just make glamour prism, while the income can be low at time it will never go out of trend for the simple fact its glamour.

I've made almost 4 mil since HW started literally just by gathering.
That maybe chump change for some people, but that's the most profit I've gotten since I've started playing.

Here's the secret:
1. Level miner (took me about.. well I remember doing it in haze for the last few gathering leves I needed for my title, so I think it actually took me maybe like 2 days to get to sixty from fifty)
2. Gear up (easy, only really shelled out big bucks for the good HQ tools)
3. Find certain nodes no one is selling for "certain reasons" but everyone obviously needs. (Include dance party at the node at your own discretion.)
4. ???
5. Profit!

Easy. I'll let you figure out which node I mean. Once, the price dropped on the my server, like in half for no reason?? I was so mad. In retaliation I collapsed the glamour market for a few hours.

What in holy hell are YOU doing wrong then? I've spent anywhere from 200 - 700 gil, depending on how bad the run was. I have never come anywhere close to even 1500 for repairs after anything, even when I've died a few times. Not even Fractal when we wiped 6 times lol...And this stands true for all three of my characters.

Before HW even went live I had several million gil. Since then even more. Mind you I'm a real twit when it comes to blowing it also lol. I have no substantial trades and basically made my gil selling materia, gear drops, and apkallu eggs.

6 wipes? lol thats nothing....after 1h+ in alex savage learning a new encounter and u wipe like crazy..... gear near 0% ...repair 2k+

Gil is so ridiculously easy to get already. I make a million a day nearly without even trying.

If you don't like to craft and gather to make gil, go kill stuff for mats that people need like Yak Milk or Dragon Skin. There's just so many things you can do...

Just buy materials or gear to the npc and sell it to the marketboard for 2x their price.
If you don't like crafting, you don't have to.

You're just mad you can't sell clears. That's what this is about, folks. OP can't sell clears.

Just look items on the MB that can be obtained from killing mobs and profit. It's really not hard to make money in this game. But it does take EFFORT!

My 2 cents.

OP was a merc in ARR. Seeing how the only post he responded to, was the one suggesting being a merc, which he shot down as no longer viable.

It does seem SE took the wind out of the sails of being a merc, since there is a marginal demand for players to enter the savage turns, considering the story is already accessible quite easily. Perhaps working as intended?

Everyone has already mentioned the various ways to earn gil, not sure if any of those appeal to you or not.

After reading this all i can say is to bad. This is a mmorpg sometimes you have to do things that are less hack and slash to get stuff you want

I don't craft or gather to sell anything but only to level the classes, and I have over 5 million. Selling materia, gear drops, hq drops from mobs, quest reward items (food, potions, glamour crystals), challenge log, and lastly levequest, MSQ and sidequest gil rewards were my source of money. Soon I'm going to have everything I need from the GC quartermaster and will start selling those materials.

i mentioned crafting/gathering not as a mean to make money, but in the sense that when you can craft/gather anything, you dont need money. when you never have to buy anything on the MB your gils just keep piling up. The MB is just a lazy shortcut to get what you want fast, i only use it to see what gears my current class can equip and i craft it myself with the mats i collected myself. i'm not even trying to get gils and i have 26M, the reason i dont have more is because i bought 2 houses. you dont need gils in this game so why everyone's trying to get more?
