I don't have crafting and my only gathering is fishing which is not viable to make gil at least from my knowledge back in pre-HW.

I own a personal large house (thanks to server transfer which doubled my gil) and few millions right now from clearing my inventory from whatever items I get from leveling up plus few others I keep a secret for myself.

All in all you need to be active in the MB and find your niche items to make decent amount of gil, you don't need crafting and gathering really to make gil, they sure help but not mandatory.

Take the time to level 1 gathering profession (seriously it's not hard/time consuming use leves). Go get a Timeworn Dragonskin map each day > Complete map with friends/PF group > Get Thavnarian Silk/Leather and other map items (occasionally a bluebird) > Market Board > Profit.

the only expensive gil sinks are glamour , and consumables if u raid (potions and food) , since all the gil sinks are based around crafting dont think SE will change anything soon...

Just buy materials or gear to the npc and sell it to the marketboard for 2x their price.
If you don't like crafting, you don't have to.

(1 repair = 2K gils in high level for those who think that 50K per week is absurd)

Crafting and gathering help, but combat jobs get gil or tradeable items with practically everything you kill. Find a few mob-dropped resources that are currently selling well on your server and go kill that mob type for a while. You'll be rolling in gil in no time. (For instance, last I checked, Fleece was a big seller, especially its HQ version, but it changes periodically and undoubtedly varies between servers as well. Just browse around the crafting resources section of the MB for a while and find some high priced drop items. Be sure to also check sale history to make sure they actually sell frequently as well.)

"Merc" groups were a pretty popular thing back in ARR, but I think with the inclusion of story mode, there will be a huge decline in that market as well, at least until harder content is do-able with 7 people and rewards unique cosmetics.

I'm not saying gil should be easier to obtain, rather I wish it was more accessible to those that have no interest in crafting and gathering.
Uhhh, your miner is at 30, would take you a few days to get that to 60, your crp, gsm, and weaver are already at 50, would take you a few days to get those to 60.

And apparently you don't realize all the gil you can make by farming monsters for their drops? Can we say skins and hides? I knew you could...

So you want to make money but not put any sort of work into it sure is sounding like....
Gil is easy enough to make in this game. Mining, gathering, hunting (mats to sell) and also have retainers to get mats for you to sell.
Also if you have not finished the storyline yet, take the money option as reward over gear. I done so in hw and when was done i had over 1 mil on me (maybe some gathering involved also)

I make about 300k a day with a weaver (only glamor prisms) and reselling npc vendor items. Regardless of how you look at it you need to put in work. If you are unwilling to work you will be poor. This is the way of the world not just final fantasy.

You want more gil with which to buy things from in-game vendors? Or more gil to buy things from the marketboard with? Because if you want more gil to play the market economy with, and you think the solution is for SE to have more gil drop, then you might want to look up the term "inflation". If every player suddenly had 10 million extra gil, we wouldn't all be rich.

What exactly do you buy on a weekly basic that 50k each week is not enough?

To OP: have you already tried battle leves? It is the best way to get tradeable gear without doing crafting.
