The females' is more of a gown while the males' is more of a robe. It's even shown in the very first quest of the AST quest line... (to avoid spoilers) the grandfather and his granddaughter are both wearing the AST robe, different genders, different details.

I am more shocked the males have the veil over the mouth. Seems kinda like a female only thing, least when I asked a male to "try on" the hat he said they had it.

That's your fault for playing a lala. Because lala is a sub race. And as they're small then the amount of detail is also smaller. You will just end in a miqo'te stomach anyway who care about your chest details <3

I never liked the Lalafell race, they just seem out of place in the game world to me. I don't really understand the appeal to want to play a short character that looks like a kid. But that is part of the issues their armor is just small because the race is small and its hard to see details.

Lalafell's are fun and have some of the best / funny animations in the game plus they are cute as pie^^
