I wish more of the current long male hairstyles had more bangs and less forehead. Out of the male finalists, I hope that long samurai-like ponytail(entry 9) gets it, but looks like the Alphinaud Perm(entry23) is gonna be the winner, but grats to all regardless!

Anywho, here's my entry, kinna went for a Laguna/Garnet kind of style.

It really is unfortunate the finalists seemed to have been chosen by ease of rig; there's so many wonderful designs in here. Also a shame only those 50 have the chance to make it in the game. Ugh, I'd kill for some of these.

Some of those hairstyles for the female entries were not appealing at all...
Going to point out that #1 looks exactly the same as #14 too. #9 isnt even original... it's Quistis' hair from FF8. and #10 doesn't even have a back view. This contest doesn't even follow it's own rules. D: Judging by this thread it looks like they didn't really look over all the hairstyles.

I wasnt actually able to enter because Im in Australia, but I love designing stuff, so I made some and then gave them to good friends to enter with



I was pretty disappointed none of them were in the stream hairstyles we thought might have been the finalists originally, but Im fine with it now because I like all the chosen finalists

Also my comment for the entry: Although my art skills aren't the best, I tried to create a hairstyle that completely avoids clipping. I left one ear uncovered, so players can show off their earrings glamour, and the side-ponytail stays above any equipment collar. I also designed the bangs to not cause any clipping with circlets.

Aeiea's, Nekome-sensei's and Mochii's designs should have definitely made the finals! I would like to see more male hair like Shippuu's and Xerevantes design,too.
