Well there is a few things that I should mention and one if you DO solo Seps you will get gold, it's based on the damage you dealt to him so if your just you, you have a 100% chance of golding it and about the no one beining around? you got a Chocobo right? use it, it really dose help and about the thing about shouting out to people and thinking no one will come is abit out there. Plenty of times I've seen people shout out in chat they may not get help all the time but most of the time they do.
The only thing that needs an overhaul is the attitude of the vocal majority in this game.
Your main complaint was the fact that you are stuck on fates, which are insignificantly easy with even 4 people. You don't have 3 friends that can take 20 minutes every few days to help you? But yet you can be so vocal on forums crying for a nerf....
All of us with the Z title knew that the weapon would be a cool glamour that not as many people would have going into 3.0, 4.0, etc. Yes, at the time that weapon was good, and made the grind worth it. That time sink was a great goal for a raid quality weapon (which was purple btw. SE, plz add moar purps lol). That is what I strived for, as did many of my friends. Something to distinguish myself with in a couple years.
You have two options:
1. Search Shia LaBoeuf on youtube and make some friends on the game. Seriously, if you can't make friends I don't know what to tell you.
2. Respect those who did the grind and wait for one that you can do. Your whining about reducing what you have to do is very childish.
I've tried a few things to get these fates to spawn. I stood right in the middle of the spawn area with the quest marked as my current main quest and flooded the chat box with /angry or /disappointed. This might sound silly, but the fate spawned in like 10 min. I've also posted on the forums about a specific fate. Low and behold, 5 minutes later the fate spawned and I wasn't even standing in the zone.
You probably hit Giant Seps when it was "leveled up." This happens with all FATEs--the health of the mobs therein is set based on the number of people to participate in the FATE the last time it spawned. It resets if the FATE isn't cleared. I know it's annoying, but it's completely soloable. I did so numerous times for the various Animus weapons I finished.
We should be able to get lights from post lvl-50 content too. It's a pain to do Dusk Vigil or Sohm Al for a grand total of 0 light![]()
After months of arduous labor, hundreds of thousands of Company Seals, and what must have been millions of Gil, I Finally have The Longenous Zeta.
The sense of accomplishment is overwhelming.
What was your method of grinding lights ? (im currently 600 points in)
Do not have Sycrus Tower unlocked (havent played after ninja came out (and only came back few weeks after HW released) but would fate grinding be better for solo play (and has loads of time on his hand) ?
