I agree, only if the DF penalty also applies to any subsequent players who leaves also. The current system is that after the first person leaves, rest of the group can ditch the DF group without any consequence at all. Simply changing the system where rest of the leavers also suffer 30 min lockout after the first person leaves, in itself, will deter a lot of people from leaving.
As for the casual-bashing,I was just following the "age old tradition" of player base schism. Not that I am trying to justify its inappropriateness, oh no, but in my previous post I was role-playing as No-Lyfe HURDCORE who deem all game mechanics are "trivial" and "too easy" while wondering why "Filthy Casuals" are even fit to breathe the same air as "Us, No-Lyfe HURDCOREs". Personally, I view players as "Competent" and "Non-competent" and throughout my decade of playing various MMOs on the market, I seen both types of players on both side of Casual/Hardcore divide.
I don't judge people based on the numbers of hours they spend in game, rather on their performance as I witness them on my screen. More often then not, I find "New/Casual" players who are just brilliant, only thing they needed is a few tips here and there to make them even more potent.
As for veteran/hardcore players not bothering to explain fights because laziness, boredom etc. is just selfish, mean and irresponsible. None of the trial or even raid encounters are so complicated that they can't be summarized in a couple of sentence or less. Hell, depending on the trial, I can finish explaining an entire fight before the WHM is done hard-casting Stoneskin II. I believe that if anyone is as "veteran/hardcore" as they think they are they can fully explain any encounter in game in a minute or less, because they understands the mechanics so well. But, that's just me.
Oh yeah, I did meant PTSD, I am surprised that I missed it when I proof-read my post... twice! >.<

I just found the typo to be funny since it sort of resulted in a different acronym that still fit yet drastically changed the meaning of the statement.
I'm confused, people do trial roulette?

Ongoing mission: Tank everything on DRG. On purpose.
Yes. In fact, many more people do roulettes than the hardest raid content. Many, many people never even see that content.
Also, for the record, it's the vast majority of casual players who never finish the hardest stuff who enable everyone else to play the game at all. I've seen plenty of super-entitled hardcores fishing for the easy farm as well. My point is that nobody should be queueing up for things they don't plan to finish; it only fosters resentment.
Ofcourse. You don't have to be lvl 60 to do trial roulette and I'm pretty sure you haven't max all you jobs yet. Doing trial roulette give you experience for non lvl 60 characters. And sometimes you get easy trial not always hard.
I found the shift key. /hipthrust
Yeah, filthy casuals! Wait a tic.../checks ilvl (136)... /checks current level (57)... still haven't qued for Bismark... he's talking about me?!?! Better run the vault a few more times I suppose.Because a lot of the filthy casuals out there are still coping with their PSTD of Bismark when they first attempted it as young and innocent level 57s while still clutching to their i130 Dreadwyrm gear like some kind of safety-blanket, only to have Almighty Bismark make them his property in a very rough and non-pleasurable way. Their torment, it seemed like it would never end until one day, in one lucky DF, A-Guy-Who-Knew-What-He-Was-Doing delivered them from this evil flying whale. Since that day, each of the filthy casuals swore they will never face the dreaded Bismark again. Until one day DF placed them in a group to face their nightmares again.
