i have been trying to create a character on Balmung for long time but it never opens up or i just miss the times it does

currently is closed 24/7. The only way to get to Balmung, in the moment, it's by transferring a character to the server. I don't know when it will open up as it did before right after maintenance was done /5-10 mins window?/

I suggest you to no transfer to servers right away. Lvl an alt and talk with the person. One week should be enough to see whether or not that person is really interested to be your friend or want just the glamour.

I know some people are cool and nice, but don't take in consideration that other ppl want to see progress in the game with this new friend/lvling partner. If it were just to talk and nothing together, I don't see the point to EB cuz u cannprrtty much do the same with other ppl.

I can give you an example in my situation with liliana. She got addicted to chocobo races /my fault D:/, but I help her by clearing dungeons she need and in the same time we do roulettes. We have a fun time and a lvling time that we both work together to achieve higher lvl. I want to help her get ravana book for her SMN/sch so I need to push her to lvl >>.... But in the same time I'm lvling some alt classes I don't feel like lvling although I want to lvl them.

It wasn't for glamour.. I don't know how to explain it. Im hurt because I responded to her cry for hhelp. She wanted a friend. So I'm transfered so we could play together. She was waay behind and a fresh 50. We spent all night trying to unlock roulettes for her. She told me how she was treated badly by others players and looked to me as a 'protector' as I have thicker skin. I have to edit this a lot since I'm on my phone ...

On day 2 we started getting real close pretty fast. This was mutual and unexpected. However the critical mistake I made was I didn't tell her I was a guy. I didn't think much about it since you know..I was there to be a friend.

On day 3 she pushes for marriage. at this time we havent tried continuing to get her caught up. Shes just wanting to talk to me.

On day 4 we're at the chapel after finishing the process and spend all night there. We confess to each oother. And some point my brain reminds me that we don't know what are genders are butshe was oobviously female. So I tell her. She's OK with it. Seemingly. But she makes a ton of hints that she is in fact a lesbian.

Day 5 excused start and I sense she is looking for excuses to break it off instead of being straight with me. We talk on thelodestone and my damn phone has hhad trouble loading it so I gaveher sanother way to reach me via phone just in case. This iis where she used that to say I was going too fast and it was scaring her. She deletedher ccharacter.

WE went too fast but honestly I held my position on day 4. She didn'twant a man and she wwasn't really looking for help. I wasted money and my time. I did a lot of things to be a good friend to her. So I'm torn and disgusted
Also I'm sure it was for the bird since she kept talking about it.

Yeah that is why I said to make an alt before transferring. You could help her that way. I don't understand why she didn't want to be your friend cuz you are a guy. You can be a girl in game not big deal. She probably wanted something else. that is the problem to rush away. I don't really care for the person gender specially cuz I want a friend. It is not like I only have guy friends or girl friends.

Don't let those experience stop you for finding a person. I would say that may be you shouldn't be the one to transfer but meet ppl that are willing to transfer. I am talking by some experience. I just got very lucky that liliana was there. I was just the fool that didn't notice her before.

..Except I was not looking to marry her. I wasn't looking for a lover. Those things came rather quickly and unexpected. The girl was a mess and I thought I could help her.

Before I went to her server, I did ask some questions to make sure she was going to accept me. I have a lot to offer but people often don't accept me because they assume or write me off on one little thing they don't like. I had to change from lalafell because lalas are generally hated and the center of crud jokes, and no one in this thread so far has wanted a lalafell. Which leads me to the next thing, I changed from au ra to a cat because she was a cat and thought it'd be cute if we were the same race.

I am a simple man that doesn't ask for much. I got a big ol' good heart. What else do I need to do? Start kissing rear ends? 2 years and 6 servers...

It also sucks because before any of this, I made a blog entry about almost quitting, and someone from Excalibur was trying to reach out to me, but I had already left the server when I finally read it. I have to wait til Excalibur is open to new characters. I'm no longer crazy about transferring.

Dont give up Twilite, youll find someone eventually, just dont transfer too early like the others have said. Get to know someone first.

Edit: She's done it before(and before meeting me) but as it is personal to her, I can't say why she did it. But honestly, what a way to make someone acting in good will feel like shit.

Aww Twilite, that sucks. Seems like she was in a really unhealthy state of mind, and I'm sorry about whatever happened that caused her to be that way. Because it's not you. I know it's rough, but to be honest, I think had the truth/general unhealthiness not come out and you EB'd with her, and then this happened, I think it would be far worse for both parties...divorces would be far more heartbreaking, especially due to this situation. For now, since it's clear that you're really bothered by this (I would be too, honestly), I would withdraw myself from seeking someone to Eternal Bond with until you're in a better state of mind. But don't give up. You've already learned from what happened, and now you can handle these situations that much better.
